so i'm actually really interested in musical theatre ?????
like really interested in musical theatre and theatre itself ?????
i can sing. i was on the better half of the class when it came to singing. my elementary/middle school vocal music teacher was actually surprised that i didn't want to go audition for an honors choir. she actually thought i'd do well at it but i don't know, i never went and tried. i didn't take any choir or vocal music class this year. maybe because all of the bitches that i know at school are involved in it?? or because my parents were like haha you can't sing. maybe i can't, maybe i can. i had multiple teacher tell me that i was "so brilliant that i could do anything i wanted to do and would succeed". yeah. maybe i can do anything, but seizing the opportunity is what's hardest for me.
the closest thing to musical theatre i'm getting to is set design. i was recruited by the head of set design at school, and my drama teacher because they loved my art so much they wanted me and a friend of mine to make the sets. i said yes and that i'd love to do it. there, i'll observe everything and probably make a move and audition next year for a part.
i'm also mobile and can drive myself places. i'll be fifteen in about 2 months so i can't drive anywhere but it'll be a school related activity so i can drive myself there.
