It was 10:30 by the time I woke up and yawned, wiping the sleep from my eyes. My arm was still resting under her, around her shoulders and numb as ever. She was still out of it so moving out from under her was proving to be no easy task. I was glad to have woken up before her so I could make it to the bathroom and clean up a little. Just as I began to slide my arm out of its place she turned on her side to face me making me jump from the sudden movement.

"Jesus god, you scared the shit out of me." Apparently it's humorous when I'm scared because she was laughing pretty hard at this point. "I thought you were asleep." I huffed and shook out my newly freed dead arm.

The tingling pain shooting up inside my arm proves that we must not have moved once in our sleep last night. "I thought YOU were asleep!" She laughed, momentarily distracting me from my pain.

"I've been waiting on you to let me go so I could raid your fridge." She half laughed.

"Well I didn't wanna wake you." I smiled down at her.

"Wellllll...what're we waiting for?" She asked.

At the same time we both hopped up from our places on the bed and darted down the hall towards the kitchen.

"Can we eat outside, it looks nice out there." She asked, looking out towards the balcony just outside the glass doors in my living room.

"Yea sure." I answered, ruffling my hair for the millionth time already this morning. It was a habit at this point. "I'll get the bowls and spoons, you get the milk and cereal." I grinned.

I don't remember the last time I laughed and smiled this much, and for Becca of all people to be responsible for me acting this way is just absolutely ridiculous. She and I are two completely different people behind closed doors when it's just she and I. She's not such an uppity bitch and I'm not such a condescending asshole.

"Cocoa puffs okay?" She interrupted my thoughts.

"Is that even a real question?" I half laughed and she joined in as we headed towards closed balcony doors. Just as I reached to open the door she stopped me,

"Wait!!" She stopped my hand. "Shouldn't we put some form of clothing on first?" She asked with a breathy single laugh.

We both looked down our bodies remembering we were still stark naked.

"Should we? Yes. Will we?..." I left the last half of my question unanswered in hopes she'd fill in the blank.

"Well I mean.." She started, "I don't really feel like it..do you?" She asked taking her bottom lip nervously between her teeth.

"No, I never feel like wearing clothes. Honestly who does?" I laughed.

"Well okay." I could tell she was nervous by the tone behind her voice. "But what if someone sees?" She asked, confirming my belief of her nervousness.

Instead of providing her with an answer I just stared into her eyes as I mentally went over the pros and cons of what could come of this situation. By the time I was finished thinking we shared a mutual careless shrug to confirm we didn't care enough not to.

We carried on outside and laid back on the patio furniture, discussing any random topic that crossed one of our minds. We'd just began discussing her plans after the European leg of our tour was done when a random man started yelling from the street below.

"Hey kids! Smile! This is gonna be a headliner!" It was then I realized he was a pap.

"Hey fuck you! Get a real job you cunt!" I yelled back. My annoyance grew to anger as he started laughing at me and my anger quickly got the best of me as I chucked the jug of milk over the ledge and into the street below, near where he was standing. Becca gasped and covered her mouth to conceal her laughter as she walked towards the ledge to look over it.

"Here put your ass on the glass." She said, pulling my arm down, instructing me to bend over. We both started laughing as we pressed our asses to the ledge.

"Snap a pic of this you dick!" She yelled at the guy. We both wobbled over to our chairs before falling into them from laughing so hard.

It was moments like this that made me regret every rude comment, every snappy action, every bad word I'd ever made towards her. She was making me laugh harder than I had in months. She was making me feel genuinely happier than I can remember ever feeling. Maybe it was time to move on from the past.

From Pria, and the poison she left behind.

Okay I know I suck at updating & by now you've probably given up all hope & think I'm done with the book, but that's not at all true. I haven't forgotten, I'm still here, I've just been super distracted having just graduated & whatnot.
