"Where in the hell are they?" I asked trying to maintain my patience. The girls were an hour late getting back. I've got a massive headache and I can't go home yet because I still have to wait for Becca so I can drive her home. "There they are." Ashton said, pointing to the Audi that was speeding down the road and into the parking lot. I watched as Sydney came zipping in the parking lot. The music was so internally loud it could be heard from the outside of the car. The four of them climbed of the Audi with the music still blasting, leaving the doors wide open for it to play out loud. The rest of the guys started laughing while the girls twerked to "Gas Pedal." Although they did all look pretty hot shaking their asses in those shorts of theirs, their goofiness was still pretty funny. I caught myself laughing with the rest of the guys despite my headache. Luke and Cal being the idiots they are, it wasn't a surprise when they ran down there to join them. Ash hurriedly grabbed his phone from his pocket to record it. "I'm so putting this on keek." He said laughing. Watching the guys try to twerk next to the girls was a sad sight. "C'mon Mike!" Becca yelled waving me down to her. "No, I'm good." Was all I said before walking over to my car and climbing in. Becca got the hint and hugged everyone goodbye before climbing in next to me. The ride through town was pretty quiet besides the occasional singing coming from our mouths copying whatever was on the radio. When I pulled into her driveway she looked at me for a moment with and unreadable expression. I was just about to ask her what the hell she was looking at when she spoke. "Mike..I-..w-what're you doing tonight?" She asked, seemingly nervous. "Er, probably just gonna lay around and watch some tele..why?" I was curious as to why she'd ask me that. "Um..well would you maybe wanna hang out later? Like you could come over..we can order a pizza or something..?" Wait. What in the hell was going on. She's not serious. "Well I mean..I'm pretty tired." I could see the disappointment on her face when she realized that she was about to be rejected. This was the first time that I'd ever felt bad for hurting her. "Tired as in..I wanna go back to my place...but you're welcome to stay at my flat tonight..we can order a pizza from there." Her face lit up, though she seemed like she was trying her best to hide it. "You sure? If you're tired I won't bother you, it's not the end of the world if I have to stay home tonight." I could tell she didn't want me to feel obligated to hang out and in a way that made me want her to come over more. "No really, actually I want you to come over. I get tired of coming home to an empty flat everyday." That just came out creepy. Overdone. And wait. Why are she and I being decent to each other? She smiled at me. "Alright, so wait, am I just coming over for a few hours or.." "Nah, it's already getting late, you can just stay for the night if you'd like..I mean it's up to you." Oh my god this was weird. I haven't had a girl stay with me since Pria. In a way..I feel like I'm starting to move on. Not necessarily with Becca, but at least I'm starting to accept other girls in my life. "I need to go get some things. I'll be back." She chirped, opening the car door and hopping out happily. I watch as she jogs up to the porch and runs into her flat. What seemed like only seconds later she comes walking back out. This time in black short-shorts and a gray tshirt, she messily pushed her hair back with her fingers as she sits back down next to me. My staring must've turned into gawking as she noticed me and i quickly looked away. "What?" She asked with a breathy laugh. "Nothing..you're just..beautiful is all." WHAT. THE. FUCK. DID. I. JUST. SAY?! Since when do I compliment anyone? Especially her! If she died of shock right now I wouldn't be the least bit surprised. "Mikey, are you running a fever?" She laughed, placing the back of her soft hand against my forehead as a joke. "No, really. You always do." I practically muttered my last sentence, in a bit of disbelief myself, knowing that I actually meant my words. The overall atmosphere in the car took a sudden serious turn. "Um..well..thank you.." She stammered. Think of something. QUICK. "I don't know I just like the whole..natural look you've got going on." 'Natural look'. Really, thats the best I've got? Why was I being so cheesy and dumb right now? I'm never this bad unless I really like a girl. Wait. What am I saying?! I think I may actually be going crazy at this point. I hate her. Don't I? Maybe not. Maybe I just hate that I'm actually liking someone again. That I'm finally getting over Pria, and liking someone new. But why her? Why Becca? Of all people, the one that I supposedly hate the most in life. As I'm getting lost in thought over this I realize she's been talking to me. Shit. I haven't heard one word of it until now. "You gonna answer me?....Michael?" "Huh..what?!" I finally responded, making her sigh. "I said are we renting any films tonight?" "No, I've got Netflix if that's fine with you?" I said more as a question than I made a statement. "Oh, yea that's fine. I didn't know you had it or I wouldn't have asked." She said before turning back to look out of her side window and mumble along to the song on the radio.
