Cold Bodyguard || M. reader x BTS [Slow Updates]

The start of the hunt part. 1

"I hope your sleeping. Your still up at this hour?"

Jin jumped and was familiar with that voice.  Turning around to see who he was waiting for.

"Sorry..  I was checking on you boys." (M/N) said.

"You scared me there hyung!A knock would've been nice and since when did you get a hold of a key to our door?" Jin said as he stands up and patted himself.

"... Your manager didn't inform you?--" (M/N) hesitated for a moment and composed himself.

"--That I'll be checking on you boys if your asleep so that you have plenty of rest for tomorrow but I guess your up and.. Waiting?" (M/N) said and notices a meal that has been out cold but covered by another plate on top.

"ah- I! " Jin remembered and took the plate covered meal.

"I thought you would be tired from today so-- I prepared something for you!" Jin had the plate on his hand and outstretched it towards (M/N) with a stutter.

"... Thank you. You need not to concern over me but it would be nice for you to head for bed at this hour. " (M/N) hesitated again when he looked over the plate covered meal and accepted it by taking it from Jin.

"Are you sure? I can heat it u--"

"My time here is done and I think yours is too,  so be ready for tomorrows schedule. " (M/N) interrupted Jin and walked over to the entrance on where he entered from.

Unlocking the door and pulling the door towards himself. He stopped and looked back at Jin.

"Okay...  Good night hyung. " Jin startled and  held up his arm to give a small wave of his hand.

"... " (M/N) looked over at Jin and over the window behind Jin. There he spotted a glint and a figure that seems to have notice (M/N) caught him by chance and disappeared.

The figure was at one of the buildings roof, only two buildings away from the dorm.

"Sleep early next time. " (M/N) mumbled and shot a glare. Turning around and walked out with a sound of him closing the door with the keys.

"wha... " Jin said dumbfounded and found himself shivering. Not knowing why (M/N) gave him a glare all of a sudden, so he quickly got himself ready to go to bed.

Without any idea on what changed about (M/N) when he successfully gave his meal to (M/N).

As for (M/N), he got himself home from his 'job' and got himself a meal from Jin.

He took the plate off over the meal and preheated it. Waiting to be heated he took off his dress coat and swung it onto his living room couch.

Unbuttoning his dress shirt revealing his skin without care and combed his hair back. Still in his black dress shoes he walked over to one of the kitchen drawers and took a small packet of cigarettes.

He got a light and lit the tip of the cigarette.  Holding it up against his lips and puffed out smoke. He then had the end of the cigarette nudged between the ends of his lips and walked over to his work place.

Rolling up his sleeves and searched for a particular document.

Rummaging through sorted documents.

Aware by the smoke alarms he found the documents that he was looking for and quickly fled the room and outside of his balcony.

Annoyed by the presence of an unknown person outside watching the boys from their window.

(M/N) seems to have known this person before from his gut feeling but he doesn't know who.

What concerns him now is about the glint that he had notice when be looked back over at Jin.
