Emery Sparks.
24 years old.

Here are some words from Emery Rosetta Sparks.

*** Hi everyone, my name is Emery Sparks & I am 24 years old. My parents are Nova and Reese Sparks.

I've always been a bigger girl, ever since I was a child. All throughout middle and high school, I was teased for my weight. Nobody liked te plus sized girl sitting beside them, they didn't like her sitting even a little close to them at lunch.

I was a loner in high school. No boyfriend, no friends, I've never even been kissed. Another thing I was teased about, I was the only girl in school that was a Virgin. The nerds and geeks (stereotypes) even lost their virginity. Now, at 24, I am still a Virgin.

I was always so miserable and insecure in high school. My parents have begged and pleaded for me to go homeschool, but i declined time after time. I never let my bullies get to me. One of my bullies was bigger than I ever was. Stacy - the bully- got so big after graduation, she died of a heart attack; her weight took its toll on her. She was over 500lbs by the time she quit college, her sophomore year in CU.

I am plus sized still, but I have a tad more confidence. I weigh 335lbs, and I'm not ashamed. I moved away from my parents house, and I just moved across the country to downtown Rochester, New York~ in need of a fresh start.

Present day, Emery's Point Of View

I stop outside of the small- two bedroom house I bought two weeks ago. It is made of red brick. There are two average sized windows located on each side of the front door, the door is painted black.

I see a motorcycle parked next door; a man with a face full of facial hair and the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen takes his helmet off. He nods his head towards me in greeting, then e walks on inside his house.

I blow some stray black hair out of my face, and I walk inside my new home. It was furnished when I bought the place. The sofa is a touch cloth, floral design. The armchair is the same fabric with the same floral design. Well, at least it's a matching set.... the kitchen holds a flat top stove, probably the most expensive thing in the entire house. The fridge is pretty cheap too.

I place my suitcases on the Queen sized bed, and I begin to unpack. My blouses, tank tops, t-shirts, hoodies, cardigans, and jackets of all kinds go in my closet. My jeans, shorts, sweat pants, leggings, jeggings, bras, and panties go into the white dresser next to the closet.

Looking around the room, I feel satisfied. Stepping outside, I stare at my black hummer H3 Specs.

"You get moved in?" My neighbor with the gorgeous eyes asks

"You get moved in?" My neighbor with the gorgeous eyes asks.

"Most of the way," I reply. "i need food. But that can be done tomorrow."

"We can go get some food, at a restaurant." He says.

"I don't even know your name." I smirk.

"Sorry, I'm Gavin." The man says. "And you are?"

"Emery." I reply. "I just moved here."

Gavin eyes my body and says, "come on. I have a spare helmet. My girlfriend won't mind."

Helmet? I follow Gavin to his Harley, and he hands me the white helmet.

"That's Nina's, but she won't mind." Gavin says, pulling a black helmet over his head.

Letting out a nervous sigh, I pull the white helmet over my head. A pretty Latina woman is smiling at me from the porch, that much be Nina- Gavin's girlfriend. She waves at me before she goes inside, and I climb on the back of Gavin's Harley.

The American food joint Gavin stops at smells amazing!! A shameful frown spreads across my face when my stomach growls.

"Get rid of that shame right now, Emery." Gavin demands softly. "You can't help when you're hungry."

"I'm always hungry," I frown shamefully again.

"Emery, stop that." Gavin snaps. "Let's go in, and eat. I'm hungry, and so are you."

Biting my lip, I follow Gavin into the food joint- as my father calls it.

"Booth or table?" The woman asks, batting her eyelashes at my new taken friend.

"Booth, for two." Gavin replies, draping an arm around me. He whispers in my ear, "play along. I'll explain this to Nina."

"Right this way," the lady says, smiling at Gavin's arm around me~ obviously thinking we are a couple. "Could I start you two off with something to drink?"

"Pepsi for me, please." I reply softly.

"Just a Coke." Gavin replies.

"Alright, here are your menus."

"Don't body shame yourself, Emery." Gavin tells me, already knowing what he wants. "Not around me, anyway."

I nod, keeping silent. I'm getting myself a cheeseburger with some steak fries.

"Thanks for the food, Gavin." I say as I hand him his helmet back.

"No problem." Gavin replies. "I'll see ya around neighbor." He sighs. "Nina probably went home. Damn. Ah, that means I can sleep!"

I laugh before we part ways. I change into some clean pajamas, not before frowning at my stomach. That burger probably put ten more pounds on me. I pushed the thoughts aside as I climb into my bed.

Wrapping myself into the warmth of my covers, my eyes close immediately. Sleep soon consumed me, home filled dreams fill my head.
