"You're good to go." Rubin says as I stand up from the small armchair by the window. "Mateo is on his way up."

I look in the mirror once before Rubin lets Mateo in. I smile at the Spanish biker lord, and he leads me out to his Audi.

"Cera 23 is pretty good." Mateo says as he parks outside of the restaurant. "I like it."

"I'm willing to try anything." I reply. "I'm eating for two, afterall."

Mateo laughs as he leads me inside. "Reservation for Cruz and Sparks."

"Sí, señor." Maria ~ the waitress ~ says with a smile.

"The red rose is beautiful." I smile.

"Your family." Mateo says, sitting. "Get is a family order of roast beef with guacamole."

Maria nods and scribbles that down, and scurries away. "Wait sir." Maria comes back. "I forgot to ask for drinks.

She's new. "Ice water."

"I'll take the same." Mateo replies. "Back to this alliance."

"What of it?" I ask, smiling.

Mateo smiles. "You've got it."

"Really?" I gasp.

"Yes; really." Mateo replies, smiling. "You want to meet my guys?"

I nod, nervous. "They look mean."

"They are." Mateo says as the food is placed in front of us. "When angered."

I became fast friends with Samuel and Sofia, the twins. Another set of twins in another biker gang. Nik and Colby would throw a fit. But, this set of twins is a boy and a girl, fraternal twins.

"When are you due?" Emilia asks, I get along with her too- to an extent.

"Four more months." I reply. "I'm ready for Avon to be born."

Miguel just sighs. "Babies are a lot of work."

"But they're worth it." I reply harshly.

Miguel rises at eyebrow. "Brave girl."

I shrug. "Be the daughter of biker bosses, you lose fear of anybody."

Miguel smirks. "I like this girl."

"We are allying with them, right?" Santiago asks.

"Yes." Mateo replies. "They need us."

"Good." Santiago says.

Lorenzo quits dancing at Santiago's sound of approval. "Santiago actually approved? I'm shocked!"

Santiago stands up, and Lorenzo takes off running. Santiago chases after him, quickly at that. Mateo rolls his eyes, and brings me to his office.

"Here," Mateo hands me a glass of stale ginger ale. "Hydrate, FaceTime your friends."

I FaceTime Nina, knowing she is around Rylan and Gavin.

"Baby girl." Nina purrs. "Where is that Mateo?"

Mateo puts his face beside mine in the camera. "Hola, Nina. Tú amiga habla muy bien de ti. (Your friend speaks highly of you.)"

Nina smiles. "Eres realmente atractivo. (You really are attractive.)"

Mateo smirks at me before he goes back t his side of the desk.

"I need to speak with Rylan and Gavin." I say.

"Hey." Gavin greets. "Rylan's... Busy."

Furrowing my eyebrows, I reply, "okay. We have the alliance."
