Chapter 6:

I don't even want to mention our match against Ravenclaw. Our Keeper missed all but a few shots, the Chasers couldn't keep up with the goal loss, and Diggory couldn't even get the Snitch because he was too busy looking at the Ravenclaw Seeker to look for the Snitch. Only Paige and I had been able to do our jobs correctly.

I'm really trying to ignore the memory of celebrating Ravenclaw students after their Seeker caught the Snitch. But the strangest thing was that Michael Pennisi, the person who was always looking at me, looked a bit sorry. Was he really not cheering for his house? I erased that from my mind. It had been bothering me since the match, which was about a month ago.

I crept over to Paige's bed. It was a little past nine by now, and today was the second Hogsmeade trip.

"Paige!" I whispered, shaking her. This wasn't going to work, as she slept late when she could, but I would try anyway. "Paige, today's the trip to Hogsmeade, and we need to be ready and it's already nine! Come on, up!"

"Hogsmeade? Today?" Paige asked sleepily, sitting up.

"Yes, now let's get dressed and down to breakfast. I reckon Emma's going to steal everything if we don't get our butts down to the Great Hall." I answered, pulling her out of bed and into a standing position.

"Right, let's go get ready." Paige yawned, stumbling off to the bathroom. I just shook my head. I was already ready to go. I just hoped Paige would be ready in ten minutes.

I waited by the door for fifteen minutes with Ella and Emma, who both decided to wait for Paige until she was ready. We ran to the Great Hall, starving. I was probably the hungriest. I had been up for forty-five minutes, and I felt sick if I didn't eat right away in the morning. At this point, I was about to get a whole lot of black in my vision without closing my eyes.

When we sat down, I immediately got everything I liked onto my plate and started eating. Ella, Emma, and Paige didn't ask. In my second year, I had to wait an hour and fifteen minutes for all of them to be ready for breakfast, and I fainted from not eating just outside the Great Hall doors. Ella had run off to go find a teacher while Emma and Paige moved me out of the way and stayed with me until, fifteen minutes later in the hospital wing, I awoke. I received a lot of teasing from the Slytherins that year.

Once Emma finally filled herself so that she felt like she was going to explode, we all went back to the common room to wait to go to Hogsmeade.

The first stop for Hogsmeade, as always, was Honeydukes. I always needed to restock all my sweets. I depend on candy. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Ella was giggling behind me. I turned to see her pointing out something to Paige and Emma. It was Michael Pennisi.

"What are pointing at now, Ella?" I demanded.

"Well," Ella began.

"Don't lie." I warned her.

"The Ravenclaw boy who's staring at you." Emma blurted out.

"Why was that so hard?" I asked.

"We thought you knew." Paige answered.

"Knew what?" I questioned.

"Well, he obviously likes you." Ella replied.

"I know, most everyone likes me in some way, whether they know it or not." I shrugged. Ella, Paige, and even Emma face-palmed themselves. "What?"
