"Danielle! Over here! I've got us a compartment!" Paige yelled from the Hogwarts Express.

"One second, Paige!" I shouted back. I turned to my mum. "Bye, Mum."

"Goodbye, Danielle. No trouble making, alright? And make sure you write at least once a week." Mum ordered. "I love you."

"Love you too." I hugged her. "And don't worry, no trouble, and I'll write weekly."

I ran off to the train to where Paige was waiting. I followed her down to the compartment she'd gotten. Two tall girls, identical, waved to me. The both had shoulder-length, shiny black hair, light blue eyes, and light tan skin. They were both going into their fourth year.

"Hi Ella and Emma, I heard you all went to Paris for Paige." I waved back.

"It was wonderful. It's even prettier at night." Ella gushed. Out of the two of them, she was the more girly one.

"I liked the food." Emma shrugged with a smile. She was the tomboy and plays Keeper in Quidditch, but hasn't made the team yet.

We all laughed. I couldn't tell you how twins could be so identical in appearance, but not in personality.

We chatted all the way to Hogwarts about our summers and, once we had finished that, went on to "modify" my appearance; our usual routine when we ran out of things to do. Ella decided that the best look for me was long, wavy hair the color of chocolate, dark green eyes, and tan skin. But Emma liked for me to have chin-length, flaming red hair, brown so dark they were almost black colored eyes, and light-tan skin. Paige wanted my original look back. She decided that it suited me best.

"We're nearly there." Paige announced. She was looking out the dark windowan off to the train to where Paige was waiting esque'ed with our new robes mkom, robes on.

"We can't be." Ella frowned. "We definitely still have some more time."

"But we're stopping." Emma argued.

The moment she finished her sentence, the train jolted to a stop, and our distant thuds of falling luggage sounded. Then, lamps went out and we were plunged into complete darkness.

"Stay still, and stay calm." I whispered. "I'm sure the problem will be fixed soon.

I heard shuffling sounds behind me, probably Ella, Emma, and Paige all moving towards me. I heard shouts in the distance, but I couldn't make it out.

Suddenly, a cold swept over us. My body went rigid, and the girls behind me stiffened too. I felt miserable; like nothing can ever satisfy me.

A few seconds later, the cold was gone, and I felt like I did before the cold, just a bit more weirded out. And then, after a few minutes, the lights were back and the train was moving again.

"What. Was. That?" Paige demanded with a look of fear on her face.

"No idea." I breathed shakily.

Beside me, Ella was holding herself, eyes wide with terror. Emma was taking deep breaths, trying to calm herself down.

"I think we'll be there soon." I assured them. "And I'm also quite sure that Professor Dumbledore will have an answer for this."

In no more than ten minutes, we arrived at school and sat in one of the horseless carriages. Ella was still shaking and taking deep breaths, but Emma had calmed down. I hugged Ella, she was my pretty much my sister and she was pretty fragile in general.

By the time we got to the entrance, Ella had finally calmed down, but was still clutching me. We walked in and found our seats; Paige next to me, the twins across from us.
