Tobi's POV:

The sidemen house was in a panic. Ethan had disappeared early in the morning and was out all day, and he wasn't answering his phone.

He took Veronica.

Josh was a mess. He had gone out three times to look at all their favorite parks. JJ was doing his best to track their location, and Simon was trying to contact his mother.

The rest of us didn't know what to do. We couldn't go to the police. We had to wait 24 hours until we could report them missing. We couldn't post about it either because the veiwers would go insane.

Harry was sure that they had both gotten kidnapped and that we would be getting a ransom phone call any minute now. He was waiting by the landline and had his laptop out looking at the bank accounts we had set up.

Where the hell could he be, and why the fuck wasn't he picking up his phone?!

Ethan's POV:

I barely got to knock once before the door was swinging open and I was being hugged and rocked and Cooed at. She was ruffling my hair and mumbling to me and holding me close.

My stepdad rushed to the door to help me with Veronica, and he basically just stole her. I could hear him talking to her as he set up the portacrib.

My mum led me out to her balcony.

The sun was setting over the horizon and the gentle noises of insects were humming quietly. There was a calm breeze and the smell of fresh air is one that I haven't had the pleasure of receiving in months. She had bright flowers springing up from flower boxes, as if they were saying "Hey, don't forget about me!"

We sat at her little glass patio table on a pair of fold out chairs, and she was pouring me a glass of lemonade.

"So tell me. What's going on at the house that you can't be there?"

I sighed.

"Basically, Josh met this chick and got her pregnant. He wanted to move her into the house but I felt like it was a bad idea. He got offended... We got in a fight. He turned everyone against me. I I I'm questioning whether or not I can call them my friends."

She sighed and held my hands, thinking hard.

"Well. All I can tell you is to consider what would be best for Veronica. Would she be happy? Would you be happy? And is it really fair to keep Josh's families apart?"

She gave me the supportive mom look and I knew that she was right about this.

"How would you feel if somebody was keeping you from being with Veronica?"

"I see your point. But nobody ever would. She's my baby." I started to frown as guilt seeped into my mind.

"Yes, she is. But she's also your friends baby too. They're probably worried sick about her. Do they know where you are?"

"I can't say that they do, mum. I was just at the shelter and then to the park. I left before everyone was up." I glanced at my phone.

8:27 PM

26 missed calls
99+ unopened messages

My mum peeked over at it. "I guess they noticed you've been gone all day. Just give them a call. Let them know that you're alright and that Veronica is safe, before they start searching Morgues for you."

She laughed before I hesitantly dialed Simon's number. I couldnt help tossing the phone to her. "Can you do it?"

"What? No!" She tossed it back and frowned. "Ethan!"

I shoved it across the table back at her, starting a battle for who would speak when Simon answered.

"Why can't you do it!" I pleaded. "They're being mean!!"

"They're your friends Ethan! Answer the phone!"

Simon finally answered when the phone was on her side, and reluctantly, she picked it up.

"Hello Simon. Yes She's fine. He's here with me. They came to stay for a few days and he forgot to leave you a note." She glared at me between sentences. "Oh really? He did? He said that to her? Well I'll surely be having a chat with him about his behavior."

The blood drained from my face.

Simon, that tattletale!!
