Sienna was standing in a beautiful ballroom in a rather stunning gown, she was supposed to be the hot new "It" girl in the fashion world tonight, but instead she felt frozen in place. Sienna saw that Evander was looking at her for an answer as to who Vanessa was, after all Vanessa was apart of her past that she never wanted to tell Evander about. After tonight, Evander was going to figure out that she had been lying to him the entire time they were dating, something she definitely was not planning. In the corner of her eye, she noticed Vince approaching them, clearly due to Caleb's presence, he was after all the De Luca's nemesis.
"Vanessa is an old friend, from Staten Island," Sienna said with nervousness dripping from her words.
Sienna then saw the small smiles on Caleb and Vanessa's faces, she then put all of the pieces together, they're working together, and whatever they have planned she better be ready for it. This was supposed to be Sienna's night, what started off as a smooth voyage is now the Titanic and it's sinking at the double the rate.
"You never told me about her," Evander said with curiousity in his tone.
Vanessa then released a small laugh as she sipped her drink.
"Of course she wouldn't tell you about me, we were friends when she was known as the Marie Antoinette of Staten Island, but as I can see Marie Antoinette is long gone. All I see now is a rather terrified wannabe," Vanessa said with a grin.
"Sharp, why don't you take yourself and your little friend here and dissapeer," Vince said in a threatning tone.
"Relax, De Luca, after all you wouldn't want to threat an official right?" Caleb said with a rather hinting tone, "I'm already planning to see you behind bars, you wouldn't want to speed up the process right?" Caleb said as he and Vanessa began to walk away.
Evander was feeling countless emotions, when he walked into the ballroom with Sienna, he flet like the luckiest guy in the world. But all he felt now was a sense of being lied to by the only girl he had ever trusted, he felt that we was more in the dark about Sienna's past then he thought.
"Evan I can explain," Sienna said with sadness in her tone.
At the moment, he didn't want to hear any explanations, all he could see was that, she had lied to him. Evander was the type of guy that believed in 100 percent loyalty and didn't trust anyone except himself, not even his parents or brother. When he met Sienna he felt a sense of comfort with her, kind of like a security blanket, she was just so easy to talk to and caring. Evander then started thinking maybe he was wrong about her and she isn't what she led on.
"Sienna, right now just let me gather my thoughts. I'll be outside." Evander said as he walked away. As he headed towards the back door that led to the courtyard, he grabbed a cold bottle of Champagne and took it with him.
Evander went outside and sat on a Granite bench at the courtyard, he honestly didn't know how to feel. Sienna was the first girl who he actually had been in a relationship with and wasn't just some one night stand. Evander slowly was putting all his trust in her and hell, she even met his family that leads a life of crime. As she popped open the bottle, he took a swig from the bottle and let the cold fluid run down, he started thinking, maybe he was overreacting. He didn't quite know her side of the story, but even if he did hear it, how much of it would be real? He then shook his head, and took another drink from the cold bottle, only this time it was a bigger one, he's Leonardo fucking De Luca, since when can a girl completely break him?
Sienna was sitting at a table, sipping a Martini, feeling hopeless. Here she was in a beautiful ballroom filled with beautiful people, She was wearing gorgeous couture, but yet she sitting in a corner table alone.
