Raindrops were falling down on Manhattan, as they fell the bright full moon practically made them visible. For some people this type of weather means staying in, maybe watch movies, but if you're a bartender that means manning the bar for Maryann. As she scoped the bar, she saw the same drunk regulars who are there rain or shine getting wasted. Maryann began to pour a Vodka Tonic into an obviously drunk man's glass. While she prepared the drink, she started thinking about the trip to Miami that she so desperately needed. She had hoped to be able to bring Sienna, but seeing how busy she was with Evander and work, it looks like she would have to go solo. Not that it's a bad thing, if Elizabeth Gilbert could travel the world alone and write a book about it, Maryann could go on a relaxing trip to Miami by herself.

"Thanks, Sweetcakes," the man said

"Edward, I thought we talked about the inappropriate nicknames," Maryann simply responded.

"I know, I know. Relax. I mean it as a complement," Edward responded.

Maryann felt this was the total definition of love and or sex life rockbottom. The only men that ever hit on her are drunk middle aged men and they're mostly men in unhappy marriages looking for a rendezvous wit a hot thing like her. As Maryann was wiping down the counter, she heard the bell on the door ring which meant a customer walked in. When Maryann looked up she saw none other than Caleb walk in, she felt frozen in place.

"If it isn't Maryann Costanza, you do remember me right?" Caleb asked with a sly smile

"How could I forget, your desperate voicemails begging Sienna to take you back were enough to remember you. Oh look did Vanessa give you the night off from being her puppy" Maryann said

"Wow, look at you, and here I was thinking you were the sweet one. I underestimated you." Caleb said with a laugh

"What do you want Caleb?" Maryann asked in a frustrated tone

"Look Maryann, I came here to offer you a peace offering. You're an innocent girl with a bright future, something that we both know Sienna Mancini is not. You have no reason to be involved in this, it's not like she even thanks you right?" Caleb asked with a suggestive tone

"I don't think I have to explain anything to you Caleb, after all why would I trust you? You're nothing but a beat cop that's Vanessa Davenport's puppet" Maryann said

"First of all, watch that little mouth of yours, I'm the kinda guy you don't wanna piss off. Now, all I'm saying is by what I've been hearing there's a revolution brewing in the underground and it's only a matter of time before the revolutionists storm Marie Antoinette's palace. My question to you is do you want to be there and suffer the consequences or get out while you can. Think about it." Caleb said as stood up from the stool and headed out the door.

As he left, all Maryann felt was confused. What the hell was he talking about? What revolution? All she knew was that she had to talk to Sienna ASAP.

On the other side of town, Gabrielle was parked in her car by the docks. She felt anger in her body, and quite frankly that all she's felt since Sienna came in the picture. As she was staring into the water, she felt her phone vibrate, whens he looked at the screen it was a picture message from an unknown number. When she opened it, she saw it was a picture of Sienna and Vince at the Governor's Ball looking rather cozy, with a message.

See what I mean Gabs, she's out for your husband, it's only a matter of time before she makes a move, or becomes the new Mrs. Vince de Luca..

Kisses,

Vanessa
