after all the commotion died down, i went to lips room and saw him. i walked over to him and pulled him into a tight hug. i felt him wrap his arms around me tightly and we both just stood there in each other's arms.
"how's your head?" lip asked.
"it's fine, veronica fixed me up." i replied still standing there in his arms.
"you really scared me." i said quietly as lip rubbed my back.
"i'm sorry" lip said in the same quiet tone as me.
"it's fine, i have a feeling you'll make it up to me." i said as i pulled away from him and he looked down at me.
"yes i will." lip said with a smirk.
all i can say about the rest of the night was that we were banging like bunnies.

lip, mandy, ian and i were walking to school together and i felt lip grab my hand.
"gotta love these half days." ian said.
"good thing public education is broke." mandy said.
"yeah, waste of time anyway. the only thing those people are equipped to teach is how to live with crippling disappointment." lip said.
"agreed." i said as we kept walking.
"hey, wanna catch a movie later? brandy can sneak us in." mandy asked ian.
"can't. gotta be at work by 3." ian said.
"gotta go see your lover." i said.
"fuck off mel." ian said playfully.
"nice jacket kash bought you by the way." lip told his brother.
"thanks." ian replied.
"yeah. tell kash i'll take it in the ass if it gets me free stuff." mandy said making lip and i laugh.
"hey." they heard a guy next to a truck shout.
"hey, yeah, i'm talking to you." he said pointing at lip.
"yeah?" lip asked.
"you got a phone?" the guy asked.
"did your truck break down?" i asked him.
"no, genius, i like standing in a shitty neighborhood with my dick in my hands. look, i'm already two hours late on this load i try to take one shortcut, this is what i get. my goddamn kid drained my phone playing doodle jump. my goddamn wife took my charger. listen, i'll give you 5 bucks if you let me use your phone. just one call." the guy begged.
