The rain came down hard on the windows of the sliding door as the auburn hair girl watched. Her eyes had a beautiful hazel tone with somewhat of a glow. She wore a magenta short sleeve shirt with an orange Star of David, a pair of blue jeans, and red high tops. And though her mother had forbid, a pair of gold hoop earrings.

The teen sighs. "Where is she Patty?" She asks, addressing the mammal type digimon sleeping on the ceiling fan. His large ears covered his childish blue eyes and he yawns "Dunno, did she say when she'd be back?" The child rolls her eyes. "No. And for God's sake get down from there!" The rookie jumps off the fan, using his large ears to fly onto the couch. "We really need to break that habit of yours!" The Patamon raised his eye at her (or nonexistent eyebrows). "Why?" She huffs. "Because normal Patamons don't sleep on the ceiling fan!" She scolds him. The auburn haired girl turns her head as the door opens.

A woman with orange shoulder length hair and maroon eyes enters. She wore a white short sleeve button up, tan skirt, brown boots, ankle length socks, and a long black coat. "Mom! It's about time!" The mother sighs and hung up her coat on the rack. "Good to see you too sweetie..." A pink bird with flies into the room and nearly tackles the middle aged woman to the ground. "Sora!" The tired mother chuckles and hugged her partner. "Hey Biyo." She stood up, holding her partner in her arms. "Well..?" Sarah rolls her eyes. "Hello mother, how was work?" She asked in a monotone voice. Sora smiles. "Better..." She sets Biyomon down and places her bag on the table. "It was alright. The storm made the power go out at work so I'm home early. Never was a fan of working in the dark anyways." She looked to her eldest, catching a glimpse at her ears and sighs. "Seraphine Angeline Yagami..." The girl crosses her arms. "What?" She mumbles moodily. Sora held her hand out. "Give them to me..." Sarah huffs. "But mom that's not fair!" The mother of three gave her daughter a warning glare. "Seraphine..." Sarah groans before unwillingly taking out the golden hoops from her ears and slapping them into her mother's outstretched hand. "Ugh! This isn't fair!" Sora places her daughter's treasured possession in her skirt pocket, ignoring her daughter's statement and heading into the kitchen to make dinner. "Where's your father?" The 13 year old proceeded to sulk. "He went to pick up Amy from school..."

She stomped her foot. "You hear me!? I said this isn't fair!" Sora, once again, ignored this. Her daughter would often get this way when she didn't get what she wanted. "Ugh! You and dad are ruining my life! I hate you!!!" She stormed upstairs. Patamon followed, shaking his head.

Biyomon looked at her partner in concern. "You sure she's okay?" Sora opened the fridge, looking around for ingredients and things she could cook. "Course Biyo, you know this happens all the time. I did the same." After pondering for a while, she took a jar of tomato sauce, deciding to make spaghetti. "Its a typical teen thing. "You're ruining my life! I hate you!" God knows we all get like that. She'll grow out of it." She unscrews the lid of the jar. "We all eventually grow out of it. But my poor mother..." She sighs. "My 13 year old self really gave her an earful..." She places the jar on the counter before going to the cabinet. "Everyone had their moments. Soon Amy and Tyler will be doing the same." Biyomon shook her feathered head. "Amy makes sense but I don't think she'd say she hates you. And Tyler? Not in a million years! He's so sweet." Sora smiles. "That he is... I'll enjoy that for a year before his birthday..." Tyler was 12, a, year and he'd be 13 like his sister. God forbid her sweet little boy turn into a moody child that listened to screaming and filled his body with holes. She could never see him doing that, not her son.

The door opens and two more of her beloved family members entered. A man with lightly tanned skin, brown hair that was slightly messy, and chocolate brown eyes that hypnotized her. Her husband, Taichi "Tai" Yagami. And standing next to him, dripping wet, was a mirror version of him. With her hair tied back in a ponytail, the 10 year old wore a red sweater with a yellow face with its eyes shaped like those funny lines you'd see in math while doing the greater and lesser problems and its tongue sticking out. She daunted a pair of brown baggy shorts and red finger less gloves. Her socks were way too big for her and now that they were wet, sagged more than usual. Her shoes were white with a red tongue and gold laces with lightning bolts on both sides of her shoes. Her beautiful daughter, the spitting image of her father.
