Felix was awakened by something smashing on the floor. He sat up quickly and stared at Ryan, who was currently shirtless, in the process of changing shirts.

"Shit, sorry." he said quietly. He bent down and picked up his hairbrush and placed it back on his dresser. "Go back to sleep."

Felix stared at Ryan for a few minutes, feeling a bit strange. Like he was supposed to remember something, and couldn't quite get it. He was always too shy to have brought up this subject. But he knew he had to.

"You're staring." Ryan's face was red as he pulled down a dark red shirt over his head. He ran his hand through his hair and pushed it out of his face, flashing a smile at Felix.

"Sorry, I'm just thinking."

"I'm all ears."

"I just have been thinking about my childhood a lot." he stared at his feet.

"Oh..." Ryan didn't know what to say. A few minutes of silence passed before anyone said anything.

"Fe, can I tell you something?" Ryan whispered.

"Of course, Ryan." he looked up with big blue eyes and pushed his messy blond hair out of his face.

"This may seem weird... but I knew you. When we were younger. Like, ten years ago, younger."

"Don't lie to me, Ryan. You know how I feel about this."

"I'd never lie to you. We would always eat goldfish and do whatever you wanted to do in my backyard. Every day we would see each other. And before you left, I went into my room and gave you your duck keychain. I loved that duck, but I didn't care."

"I don't believe you." Felix whispered. Ryan stood and grabbed a picture off his dresser. It had a small brunette child with hazel eyes and a smile with a gap from missing with missing teeth. He had on a dirty Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shirt on with tan cargo shorts. His face was shining with sweat.

Next to him stood another boy, who was obviously younger, at least by a year or two. He had a bigger smile, missing more teeth than the brunette. His blond hair came down to his shoulders, in desperate need of a cut, and shone beautifully in the sun. His blue eues sparkled. He had on a green camo shirt with black basketball shorts.

They were holding hands in the way young children do, with extremely happy looks on their faces. Ryan handed the picture to Felix. He studied it for a while before speaking.

"I wore that same shirt when I was younger. I wore it as much as I could."

"I know you wore it a lot."

"But... who are they?"

"Can't you see, Felix? They're us. Ten years ago, up in Minnesota."

"I can't believe it." he breathed. He stared down at the picture for a while, not knowing what to say. Ryan sat down next to him, wrapping his arm around Felix's waist.

He shook his head. "I still don't remember this, Ryan. I'm so sorry." He rested his head on Ryan's shoulder.

"Don't be. I didn't expect you to, honestly."

"Than why did you tell me all that?" he entertwined his fingers with Ryan's.

"I don't know." he looked down at Felix.

His blue eyes met his hazel ones and they stayed like that for a few moments. Ryan finally pressed his lips against Felix's gently, at first, than deepening it.

A moment later they broke apart, staring at each other again. He ran his hand through his hair and sighed.

"I guess I told you all that because..." he paused.

"Because why?" he wondered out loud.

"Because I loved you than and I love you still."
