Most of the time, my words are in a Calibri or Nunito font, and are about as big as my thumb.
They are generally black, but they become white when my eyes are shut.
None of my words have colors, but almost all of them have textures.
If someone says a word that I don't know how to spell, it shows up how I heard it. For example, when I was young, I never connected the word chaos with the actual sound (kay-äs). Instead, I thought that it was pronounced chAH-ōhs, which felt flaky, like freshly dried Spackle. When I heard the correct pronunciation, I saw the word as kaos, and I never made the connection until someone was reading aloud with me and informed me that the word kaos was actually chaos. I've seen it as chaos ever since; the spellings of the words are as close to their correct spelling as possible, and the texture turned almost fiery, but without the heat.
When I see the words, they never have punctuation, unless I'm thinking about what I'm going to write or type. I've wondered about why that is, but it still confounds me.
If I don't understand what a person is saying, my mind makes up a spelling for the word. Earlier today, someone said the word dependable and I only heard part of it, so I saw it spelled dipenabobble.
If I hear a sound effect, like someone breathing into a microphone, it looks like Whhhhhh, and if the sound is lasting, the hs continue on until the sound stops.
