"Your name is Jamie?" Poe asked, stunned. He seriously couldn't believe he never asked about it, and was in even more disbelief that her name wasn't Breha or Hanna or something.

"High Commander Jamie Padmé Solo, at your service, Black Leader." Jamie said, smirking his newly appointed position and mock curtsying. Poe looked so confused, and it took all of Jamie's self control not to laugh at his baffled expression.

"Commander Dameron, if you're ready I'd like to start the briefing, thank you very much." Leia said, smiling slightly at the perceived purity of the exchange. Poe nodded as the rest of the pilots filed in and took their seats. Jamie walked towards her mother, who told her to stand at her right hand side.

"Before we begin, pilots, I'd like to introduce the new Blue Leader, High Commander Jamie Solo." Leia said, gesturing to her daughter with an unreadable expression. Was it pride approval? Jamie couldn't tell. "Back to the matter at hand, The First Order.

Jamie zoned out, she glanced briefly at Poe who was staring at her, and smiled to herself. She'd had the desired affect. The only person from the base she had spoken to was Antonia, the two communicating through dodgy holograms and transmissions. Jamie hadn't really missed D'Qar, the only thing she was ever curious about was Ben, but she daren't tell anyone that she actually didn't detest her younger brother. The meeting began to wind down, and Leia began to explain that they should all be alert about The Orders presence in the galaxy. Jamie rolled her eyes and moved towards the door with the others, but was stopped by Poe.

"You're a, of age and b, you don't have duty tomorrow." Poe said, earning a confused look from Jamie. He shook his head and smiled slightly. "You owe me a drink."

An hour and a half later, a drunken Poe and an amused Jamie stumbled out from a bar somewhere on D'Qar. Well, Poe was drunk and leaning on Jamie for support, Jamie was no where near intoxicated enough to be classed as drunk. She had drunken a lot more than that before and barely felt tipsy. Poe, on the other hand, had piled on shot after shot, leaving Jamie to laugh at his stupidity.

"I thought he said just one drink." Antonia laughed as the two fell into her room. Jamie didn't know where she would be staying (she'd ask tomorrow) and so there was no way she know where Poe's room is. "He's never usually like this." She shook her head at the passed out man on her bunk.

"So he was showing off." Jamie said, growing more amused by the minute. She'd made a bet with someone that he was always like this, he must've changed so much in her absence. "I guess I have to pay that Pava chick in whatever currency you use on D'Qar." She added, earning her a confused state from Antonia. "When you go to as many places as I have, Toni, you get mixed up. Do you use credits or something else?" Toni chuckled slightly.

"Most people use credits. God, have you really been gone that long?" Her friend asked, her voice filled with an emotion Jamie couldn't name. Nostalgia, maybe?

"Three years is a relatively long time, I'd say." She said with a sad smile, suddenly wondering about everything she'd missed. "How's Ben? Does he stop by often? What colour is his saber?" Jamie asked in a slightly mad rush. She wanted answers and she wanted to get it out of the way.

"As far as I know, he's doing fine. He stops by every year or so, around your birthday." She paused, suddenly realising why Ben came to D'Qar at the times he did. He wanted to see if his sister was back for her birthday. Jamie sighed quietly and Toni took that as a hint to continue. "His saber is green, last time I checked. He got it about a week after you left, scared the shit outta me a couple months later with it." Toni smiled at the memory, and Jamie made a mental note to ask about it later. Toni raised her eyebrows at Jamie, prompting her to say something else.

"What?" Jamie shrugged. "I've got nothing else to say. I know how you've been and I hardly care to much about Poe," she said, glancing at the unconscious body on the bed beside them. Toni sat on a sofa at the end of the room and Jamie followed her. Toni gave her another look, and Jamie cracked. "Okay fine, hows my mother?" She whispered.

"The General is doing fine." Toni said, rolling her eyes at the stubbornness of her friend. "She missed you. We all did. I didn't of course, I celebrated your departure." She said, pouring out some whiskey into a glass and passing it to Jamie before getting herself one. They began to drink again, sipping it like pros. The two laughed slightly at her comment, and a relaxed silence fell over the two.

"Save the trees." Came a grumble from the other side of the room and the girls exchanged another brief look.

"His hangover will kill him in the morning."
