I leaned over the center console and kissed Corey slowly and softly on her lips, no surprise she tasted like cotton candy. She quickly pulled back and blushed. I could tell she felt awkward. I turned the radio on to get rid of the awk feeling between us, but there was no music. A siren was blaring from my speakers, I tried turning off my radio but it was getting louder.
I awoke in a sweat. Shit, I'm running late for school. Guess, I won't have time for breakfast, I'll just grab a bagel along the way. I quickly jumped into the shower and did a scrub down as best as I could. Dreaming of Corey always puts me in a good mood in the mornings. I'm never really a morning person, I hate being woken up. I looked at my clock, shit, it's already fourth period. I pounded down the stairs, knowing my mom wasn't home I cared less about making noises. I had to forget my bagel I was already running late, I'll just wait til lunch.
I leaped in my car and tried starting it, nothing but sputters. Great, just what I needed. I decided to walk the four miles to school. This day already sucks. Only one person could always make it better, Corey. Thinking of her put a smile on my face. I felt my face getting red, man I hated blushing.~Almost There~
I was exhausted and my legs began to cramp up. Thankfully I was a block away from the school. As I rounded the corner a car sped past me causing the puddle of mud to splash all over me.
"What the fuck, dude! Slow the hell down, stupid bitch!" I yelled directly at the car but they were already far enough away I doubt they heard me.
What the fuck am I supposed to do now, especially with muddy clothes? I guess I'll just ask Corey to give me a lift home, I'm definitely not staying in school with dirty clothes on.
I walked up to Corey's car, she already knew I wanted to go home. I had texted her as soon as I walked on campus. I looked down at my phone and sighed, Katy was texting me. I had no interest in her. She was just someone to be there for me when Corey wasn't allowed out. Corey's uncle kept her in the house over the summer and made her spot clean. She hated every second of it and I wished I had helped her but her uncle was vicious last summer and didn't allow visitors.Katy (ignore)
Hey Leo! 👋 When can we Hang our again? ❤️Idk.
Oh well how bout tonight? My 'rents aren't home? 😉
Busy.
You're always busy. You sure you're ok?
Ya. I gtg.
Seen 12:34pmI looked up hoping Corey would be near soon. I saw her walk out the front door, she flipped her long blonde beautiful hair. I hopped in her blue mustang as soon as she clicked the unlock button. I didn't want anyone to see me with muddy clothes on. She rested next to me and smiled.
"Wow, ha-ha, you look really messy and gross."
"Yeah, I know. I feel gross", I kinda rolled my eyes, I don't know why, maybe it had to do with frustration.
"Hey, Cor, can I tell you something?" I stuttered nervously. This was the time I should tell her. Maybe she'll say yes.
"Yeah, sure, what's up, Leo?" She giggled, she knew I disliked her saying my actual name.
"Wanna go get some pizza?" I chickened out, I couldn't do it. What if she says no, and our friendship is ruined.
"Now? Ha, sure! I don't wanna go back to school anyways."
