~Phil's POV~
Eight weeks had passed since I had started my new school, to say things were going great, would be an understatement. Chris, PJ, and Dan had grown very close to me. Especially Dan. Dan and I definitely had become the closest out of the four of us. We always sat near each other writing to each other in my notebook and laughing about little things each of us did. Those little tingly feelings, turned into little tummy feelings, which eventually managed to turn themselves into basically my entire existence feels these feelings for Dan. But I know he'd never be able to feel the same way I was starting to feel towards him towards myself. Why would someone as amazing, and gorgeous, and perfect as Dan Howell ever look at me as something other than a good friend or something. He certainly couldn't ever be with the weird mute kid. Bad for an image I'd say myself.
I walked up to Dan's house and knocked on the door. The four of us were set to hang out while Dan's parents were away on a holiday for their wedding anniversary or something of the sort. Either way it was to be the four of us all weekend. I only walked because my third day at the new school, Dan prompted to walk me home, of course I accepted, I remember every part of it, we walked in silence, our hands hanging close, we occasionally bumped them as we walked, earing a small blush from me for sure, it turned out me and Dan live very close to each other, which I was more than okay with in all honesty.
Dan opened the door and jumped on me hugging me tightly. I laughed softly and hugged Dan back, my body lit up as soon as we made contact. I smiled at that and closed my eyes, just taking in the overallness of Dan it was a beautious thing. I let myself just breath it in, in a none creepy kind of way, if that even exists. His smell was my favorite thing, he smelled of a light cinnamon. One of my favorite things out there. I pulled back after a lingering moment and brushed my fringe away awkwardly and followed Dan up the stairs to his large bedroom and walked in and smiled giving the other two a wave. I plopped down next to them all on the floor and pulled my notebook out and opened it up.
"Well look who decided to show up, now we can actually do things without Dan whining!" Chris joked nudging my arm as Dan sat down next to me, he sat close enough to me so out legs and arms constantly brushed. He must have been doing it on purpose by now. Rude.
"Oh shut up," Dan laughed kicking at him, "Be nice to Phil, now what shall we do?"
"Let's play twister!" PJ smiled, "We have to! It's tradition!"
"PJ we always play twister so let's not, but I may smother you with the mat," Dan groaned leaning against my side.
I smiled down at him, running my eyes over his face, his beauty still had amazed me, he should share his secret.
"Hey lovebirds! Did you hear what I said?" Chris threw a pillow over at the two of us, making Dan sit up again. I felt my cheeks heat up from the 'lovebirds' part. Chris had always made jokes towards me and Dan about us that kind of thing, it embarrassed the hell out of me, I didn't want Dan to know about how I felt and then not have him as a friend anymore, it would hurt more than any of the kids ever could have.
"Shut up," Dan muttered sitting up and moving himself away from me. It hurt just a lot to see that, "We're not lovebirds, stop making assumptions Chris, but anyways, what did you say?"
"He said we should get out that bottle of expensive alcohol your parents don't drink and have a little game of drunk truth or dare," PJ smiled and stood up from the ground, "I'll get the bottle if everyone's okay with it."
I looked around at the other two, seemingly excited about the suggestion, I looked up at PJ with a smile, I'd never drank before, but I wasn't about to kill their moods.
PJ left the room and came back minutes later with a large bottle in hand and sat back down popping the top off, "Who's first?" He smiled and set the bottle in the middle.
"I will," Dan smiled and grabbed the bottle from PJ and took a large drink from it, "Truth, and hit me with your best."
"Are you still having that little flirt time with that girl Angela?" PJ asked him with a small smirk. I hadn't know Dan had been flirting with anyone, I felt myself start to feel slightly jealous at that, actually no, more than slightly. I looked down at my lap and chewed my lip up. Chris had moved his eyes over to me and obviously had saw my expression change at the question.
"No, she got annoying," Dan chuckled and set the bottle back down, "I actually have a thing for someone else now."
"Who is it?" Chris asked him quickly and smiled, "Spill Howell."
"Only one question per turn thank you," Dan chuckled and leaned back on his hands, "Next."
After a few turns by us all, everyone was getting quite buzzed. I had been handed the bottle again after Chris and wrote down truth across my paper and smiled taking a big gulp from the bottle setting it back down.
"You have to answer this 100% honest," Chris said and smirked sitting up, "Do you have special little feelings for Dan?"
I stared ahead at Chris, the color stripping from my face I felt dan's eyes burn into me. I slowly picked up my pen and held it to the paper, trying to decide whether or not to actually be honest here. But I looked over at Dan quietly and decided that something needed to be done about it. I slowly wrote the simple letters down in the paper and turned the paper around to face everyone. One simple word that could make or break my friendship. I stared down at my lap quietly awaiting something, anything from anyone, but the room was dead silent.
'Yes'
And that's when Dan stood up and walked quickly from the room, leaving everyone completely out of mind.
