Craig's POV:
I couldn't help but to lay there on the bed, sobbing quietly. I knew I was never going to see Ronnie again. As tears ran down my face, I couldn't help but think of him. What they were doing to him. I could hear his screaming in my head. This just made me cry even harder. Uncontrollable sobbing drowned out the sound of the door opening. I couldn't see anyone through my tears, but felt a hand on my shoulder. Someone began pulling me close and then I heard it. The voice I wanted to hear more than anything. The one thing that could bring me comfort in this dark time. Ronnie's voice.
"Craig," he said, softly. "Baby, it's gonna be okay."
"R-Ronnie?" I asked through sobs. I wanted to believe it was really him, but knew I couldn't.
"Yeah, baby. I'm here." I felt a light kiss on my head. I opened my eyes, but could barely see. From what I could see, though, it was Ronnie. I jumped up to pull him into a hug. As he hugged back, I cried into his chest.
"Never leave me again." I whispered. Once more, I felt a kiss on the top of my head.
"I wouldn't leave you for the world, Craig. I love you."
