Chapter 57 - Why would he lie?

"You ok?" Yoona asks and I nod.

"I trust him." I say and she nods. Even if I say it, I'm still curious what they'd talk about being so touchy and close, but I have to trust him. He's no more the old Jungkook.

"Let's go in now, it's time to eat, Jamie's probably starving and she'll probably make Mina go crazy!" Yoona says and I chuckle. I nod and we head back. I took one last glance at them and they were really close to each other. Yeah, I trust him. I trust him, I trust him, I trust him.

"I'm starvinggggggggggg!!!!!!!!" We could already hear Jamie shout.

"Okay! Calm down! The diner will be ready in some time!" Yoona says. The school will provide us with the dinner today as said.

"They're so slow!" Jamie says lying down like she's dead now which makes us chuckle.

"I knew something like this would happen!" Yoona says while taking some packets of chips out of her bag. Jamie looked at it like someone would if they saw a hope of living. She hugged Yoona and kissed her on her cheeks.

"You're such a wife material mom! I loves yous!" She says while taking the packet from her and eating it leaving all of us laughing at her.

In no time the dinner was ready and we leave the tent to get the dinner. We meet the boys and sit where they were with the dinner. I look at Jungkook and he smiles at my direction and I smile back.

"Is Risang still alive?" Taehyung asks looking at Jamie while Jamie nods.

"She didn't show up, so technically she'll be alive if she'll ignore us." Yoona says and Jamie nods. Even if we're talking about Risang and Jungkook met her sometime ago, he didn't speak a word and continued his dinner while I got assuring looks from Yoona.

"Heard we'll have campfire tomorrow and the night after only?" Jimin says and I nod. Since today we've just arrived, Mrs. Kim allowed us to rest this evening and that we'd start by tomorrow.

"There's a competition, isn't it?" Jamie says and I shrug.

"What competition?" Jungkook asks.

"Talent hunt? I guess? The one with the best performance wins I think." Jamie says while eating her food.

"I didn't hear about it." Yoona says and I nod.

"Neither did I." I say. Jungkook was glancing at me time to time, and I did blush at him.

(A/N - I don't know why they always steal glances and smile at each other and do nothing else?)

I don't know why isn't he telling us about the conversation with Risang. It's just making me more curious and maybe somewhat insecure as well. I want to know about what happened but I want him to tell me or else it'll just create misunderstandings like before. I didn't speak and ate my dinner silently.

"Hahahaha!" Jamie laughs. She had her food in one hand and phone in the other. She was laughing at something in the phone. When she realized all of us looking at her, she stopped laughing and cleared her throat.

"What was that?" Yoona asks to Jamie.

"Sehun texted me saying he's been serving the guests and been in middle of the old people's talks! He's using his phone and texting!" Jamie says between her giggles.

"He texted you out of all the people?" Jimin asks and Jamie nods.

"Why? What's wrong with that?" Jamie asks and Jimin shakes his head.

"Nothing." He says sadly.

"Ohhh!! Looks like something's cooking!" Taehyung teases while Jamie gives him a confused look.

"Isn't dinner?" She said looking at the food in her hand as Taehyung just facepalms.

"Tubelight." All of us say in a single voice which takes her a moment to understand. Jamie and Sehun would look amazing together though.

"Jungkook? Did you manage your stuffs by now?" Jimin asks and Jungkook shook his head.

"I haven't hyung, I'll do it after dinner." Jungkook replies while Jimin nods at him.

"Where were you by the way?" Taehyung asks as I look at him with curiosity built inside me. 

"I was just roaming when I got a call from a friend." Jungkook says while Taehyung nods. Call?

Yoona looks at me with a really worried look, I nod at her.

Why would he lie? Is it just because he didn't want to say it in front of everyone? Or is he still hiding something?
