Prologue

The stunt that Stefan had pulled had killed Katherine, but in a way it didn't. At the time, that amount of magic and energy was surging so that Katherine could change where she was heading. Her mind set on revenge, she chose the way where she could come back. There was a prison world that was still fresh, still a lot of holes that time hadn't been able to fix yet. Even though Bonnie had guided them in it, the prison world had been made by kids. Katherine slipped in the first chance she had.

There, she met Kai again. She broke Kai free of the chains and they immediately went to work on making a new ascendant, since Bonnie had taken the old one. That took years to make and to also find Bennet blood to make the ascendant even work. 18 years to be exact. But it was worth it when they made their way to the middle of town and started the spell.

White light engulfed them and when they opened their eyes, they were in the woods. They smirked at each other and walked off. They had plans that needed to be started. Things were about to get interesting in Mystic Falls.

I know this prologue sucks, but I didn't put much effort into it. Just read onto the first chapter and I promise it's much better and much longer.
