A Thousand Years

Genevieve had held onto Kai like her life depended on it. She thought he was dead, and here he was completely safe and sound. She was beyond happy. All of her family was downstairs, unknowing about Kai in her room. Right now her and Kai were sitting on her bed, her in his lap with her head on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around her. They sat in silence together for the longest time, maybe half an hour before Kai carefully moved her off him and stood up. Genevieve looked up at him, confused.

"Where are you going?"
She asked.

"Away. I have to get away from you."
Kai said to her, his eyes avoiding hers.

Her face fell immediately before she stood up as well.
"What do you mean?"

"I mean I'm leaving, Genevieve."
Kai said, a bit to harshly.

Genevieve pursed her lips.
"Why?"
She choked out.

His eyes lifted to hers after her voice spoke to him. His eyes filled with regret, but he answered.
"I'm too much of a danger to you."

"No you're not."
Genevieve shook her head.

"Yes I am. Genevieve, Katherine got you because I led her to you. I told her who you were in the beginning. She targeted you because you mean something to me-"

"That's not a legitimate reason, Kai. That's an excuse."
Genevieve interrupted him.

Kai clenched his jaw.
"It's not an excuse, it's the truth. And Katherine isn't the only enemy I have. Anyone that was tied to the Gemini coven is out for my head. They won't have no problem in killing you to get to me."

"Does this look like a face that cares?"
Genevieve shot back.

"No and that's the problem. But it matters to me so I have to go. I'm not going to see you get hurt or worse because of me. I care about you too much for that."
Kai nearly shouted at her.

"And I love you! You're emotions aren't the only ones that matter Kai. Dammit I don't care if my life is in danger, I'm happy just being with you. Why can't that be enough for you?"
Genevieve growled at him, but her voice cracked at the last sentence.

"I'm not good for you."
He whispered to her, his tone hoarse.

"And what is? Because if you knew what was good for me so damn well, you'd know that you're the only one that's good for me."
Genevieve shook her head.

"I'm a monster, Genevieve. I kill people for my personal enjoyment. I killed my whole family, my whole coven, because I wanted too. And I'll be damned if I don't want to kill you right now."
Kai was clearly pissed now.

"Oh yeah?"
Genevieve walked straight up to him, face to face.
"Then do it. Then you can blame it all on your stupid sociopathic tendencies. And while you're at it, you can go to hell you motherfu-"

She was interrupted when Kai sped her up against the wall. His right hand was on the wall in a tight fist beside her head. He glared at her, his mouth almost twitching. His breathing was heavy, his chest heaving as he tried to control his anger. Genevieve was pressed against the wall. She knew she should be scared and intimidated, but she wasn't. She was full challenger. She stared him directly in the eyes, not backing down.

"Do it Kai. This isn't going to end until you make it so."
Genevieve said to him, her voice still in a slight growl, but it was softer than before.

Kai glared more at her, silent. She almost feared he would actually kill her before he moved forward and kissed her harshly on the lips. Genevieve immediately responded and kissed him back. Her hands went up to his neck and craned it closer. Kai's hands went to her thighs and lifted her up in the hair, Genevieve wrapped her legs around his waist. He ground his hips into hers and she moaned softly into his ear.

Gosh, i told you guys this was going to be short and cheesy. Also, sorry that this thing was missing some at the end. Don't know what happened, but I've fixed it and added on this note.
