Killer Reunion

The day was less stressful as it went on. Genevieve was happier, considering now her Aunt was less disapproved with her relationship with Kai. Bonnie had kept her promise, she didn't tell her parents about Kai. She had stayed for a while before she went back home. Her parents and her had a family game day before going to bed satisfied.

The next day.....not so much. She had been sleeping peacefully when her phone started ringing in her ears. She sat up quickly, gasping. Once she realized it was just her phone, she groaned softly. She grumbled and grabbed her phone. She didn't bother to look at who called before she answered.

"Hello?"
Her voice was grumbly, her morning voice not very happy.

"Hello Genie!"
Came the much more chipper voice of Kai on the other end.
"Might I say, your morning voice is sexy."
He purred.

"You woke me up just to tell me this?"
Genevieve mumbled, her voice almost a growl.

"Okay and you're not a morning person. Noted."
Kai said quickly.

"What do you want Kai?"
Genevieve said, sitting up and leaning against the wall.

"What do I want?"
He replied, confusion in his voice.
"I completely forgot. I could ju-"

"Kai."

"-st want you. But you're cranky right now, so i don't know about that. Maybe I'm hu-"

"Kai."

"-ngry. Yeah I think I am-"

"Kai!"
Genevieve yelled out to him, finally shutting him up.

"Huh?"
He spoke.

"Look, you're my boyfriend, but you're getting in my nerves. If you don't want me hitting you upside the head with a book next time I see you, I suggest you either get to the point or I'm hanging up."
Genevieve said to him.

"Remind me never to wake you up, damn."
Kai murmured to himself before answering.
"I'm thinking about taking you out later. Maybe tonight. Heard there's a meteor shower thing tonight."

"Oh."
Genevieve smacked her forehead.
"I would love too, Kai. But if you ever wanna ask me out on a date, wait until at least 10 am. Not-"
She checked the time.
"7."

"Sorry, guess I got a bit excited."
Kai chuckled before sighing.
"See you at 8?"

"Pm? Sure."
Genevieve finally cracked a smile.

"Alright. I'll let you get back to sleep. See ya Genie!"
Kai said, his tone light and happy again.

"See ya, Kai. Love you."
She hung up before she realized what she said.

Genevieve's eyes widened, her body tensing up. She literally just told him she loved him, not good. What if he didn't feel the same? He was a sociopath, as he had mentioned hundreds of times before. Of course he didn't feel the same, he couldn't. Now she just messed up their whole relationship. She buried her face in her hands and groaned out.

"I hate myself!"
She yelled into her hands, the sound muffled.

She then slid until she was back on her pillow and groaned. Why did she have to ruin everything?

Genevieve had finally went downstairs around 12, she was still moping around from earlier. She went to the kitchen and saw her dad. She smirked slightly before she crept up behind him and then grabbed the hand towel he had around his neck. He was too slow to turn around, because before he had a chance, Genevieve had wound the towel up and snapped it against his butt. Damon sucked in a breath after he yelped and turned around to keep the target from her line of attack.
