Chapter 4

Peyton
I blush furiously,"Hi. My name is Peyton." I say shyly, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"I'm Lukas Grey. Alpha of the Grey pack." He begins to advance towards me but the bathroom door opens.
"What is taking you so lon- What are you doing?" Serafina asks as she takes in the scene, quickly going on the defensive and getting in front of me.
Lukas crosses his arms over his broad chest."I could ask you the same, this is clearly the men's restroom."
"Serafina, I told you not to come in here. There isn't any danger here, chill out." I whisper quietly.
Serafina doesn't relax though,"I will not 'chill out' until you tell me what is going on."
"He's my mate."
She finally steps aside, although a bid hesitantly. "I am sorry for intruding then, Prince Peyton."
"I told you to just call me Peyton." I scold her.
"As you wish."
"Prince?" Lukas questions looking at me.
Serafina speaks before I can." Yes. Prince Peyton, youngest son of the Hunter pack royal family."
"Then I believe you need to tell your fathers about our mating."
"Ah, yes, I- I should. Can I do it a little later though?"
Lukas shrugs," Where are you staying Peyton?"
"In some hotel, I already forgot the name of it."
"The Luxury Inn." Serafina fills in for me.
"You should stay in my pack, you are my mate after all and I don't want to be separated from you after I've just found you. I've been waiting to find you for quite a while."
"Then I guess I really need to call my dad right now." I pat my pockets,"I don't have my phone.."
Serafina hands me hers, I hit the call button and nervously wait for Papa to pick up. It doesn't even ring once fully before Papa answers,"Hello? Serafina what is it?"
"Hi Papa." I say nervously.
"Peyton? Why didn't you call me on your phone?"
"I don't have it with me right now, I don't really like carrying it anyways, I feel like I'm going to accidentally break it."
"The whole point is for you to carry it with you, we could just replace it if you break it. Now why did you call me?"
We sit in silence for a moment before I blurt out," I found my mate he is Alpha of the Grey pack. Can I go to his pack and stay instead of the hotel?" I chew on my bottom lip nervously as I wait for his answer.
"I have met him before, I think he is perfectly capable of protecting you and will treat you right. He is your mate so I suppose you can go. Tell him he should come visit soon though, we need to have a talk. Alpha to Alpha."
I blush at that,"Papa." I whine.
"I love you, come home soon."
"I love you too Papa." I end the call and look up at Lukas. "Let's go." I say excitedly.
"We need to get our bags first." Serafina reminds me.
"Oh."
"I'll come with you." Lukas says holding out his hand.
I take it, blushing furiously.

I just want to explain why he is called prince. It is because Peyton family are pure blood werewolves, that means that throughout their bloodline there have only been werewolves and they have not been mated with any other species. The alphas in a pack are kind like royalty too, though not all packs will call them something like prince.
