Island Boy

Chapter 10

One week passed by fast and before Lukas or I knew it, it was time to go visit the island. Lukas had our bags sent ahead of us and Serafina would be coming tomorrow so we won't know if Jane is coming until then; I had a feeling she would though.
"Are you excited? Nervous?" I ask Lukas as I fix the collar to his jacket that was sticking up oddly.
"Definitely nervous, I don't know if you've noticed but Alpha Hunter can be pretty scary sometimes."
I laugh," Papa is pretty harmless though."
"Maybe to you, but I'm afraid he might castrate me." Lukas audibly gulps.
"He won't because then I wouldn't be able to have Daddy any grandbabies." I press a chaste kiss to his neck, reaching my hand up I bring his face to mine.
"Daddy will keep him in line."
Lukas kisses me back," Okay. Time to go or we'll be late."
"Okay." I skip happily out the door and towards his car. Lukas beats me to it though and opens the car door for me like always.
"Is that some kind of a necessity for you?" I ask once he gets in the drivers side of the car.
"What?"
"Opening my door for me."
Lukas leans forward and presses a kiss to my lips and I blush, smiling up at him happily. "Yes, I like doing it."
I lean over the console and kiss him,"Mmh."
Lukas pulls away after a moment,"If you keep doing that we won't be going anywhere."
I giggle and cross my arms,"I don't know what you're talking about."
"You know exactly what I'm talking about." He growls lowly in my ear and a shiver runs down my spine. Lukas pulls away,"We really ought to get going though because we will be late." Lukas starts the car and I fiddle with the radio as we drive.
I can tell as we near the island that Lukas is nervous. I run my hand through his hair. "Don't worry, everything will be fine."
When we get off the ferry I notice my brother standing and waiting,"Holly!"
"Hey little bit." He chuckles when I run and hug him tightly.
"Holly! Holly! Holly!" I say excitedly.
"What what what?"
I grab a hold of him and pull him towards Lukas,"Meet Lukas, my mate."
"Oh yeah, I heard about you." Holly says shaking his hand.
"Lukas, this is Holland my older brother and future Alpha of the Hunter pack.
Holly's eyes turn downward but he quickly brightens back up, it happened so fast I feel like it was just my imagination.
"Well Papa and Dad are waiting for you." Holly smells the air,"You guys are fully mated!" He exclaims and I blush.
"Um, yes, we are." I say, my cheeks tomato red.
Holly starts laughing," I can't wait to see Papa's face. He's going to pop a blood vessel."
"It's not funny." Lukas whines but Holly only laughs harder as we begin to walk.
"You're right," Holly settles down."It's hilarious!" Holly exclaims bursting out laughing again.
When we reach the house Daddy comes running out and hugs me tightly to his chest,"Daddy I can't breathe."
Daddy lets go and eyes Lukas,"He's handsome." He pulls him into a hug,"You better take care of my baby."
"Alright, where are they?" Papa comes out, scenting the air he storms towards us.  Papa grabs Lukas by the front of his shirt,"What do you mean by mating with my baby boy?" He growls in his face.
Daddy pulls on his arm, getting him to let go."Calm down. They're mates, it's only natural." I hug Lukas tightly and kiss his face.
"But-" Daddy presses a kiss to Papa's lips, quieting any complaints.
"No buts."
"Fine, but it doesn't mean I like the idea." Papa grumbles.
I pull back and fix Lukas's shirt. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay." Lukas reassures me and I kiss him again.
"So when can I expect grandbabies?" Daddy asks.
