We See What We Want

Chapter 9

The drive wasn't terribly long, It would have been shorter is the traffic wasn't bad. We pull up to this apartment near Soho. It's quite nice, very simple, but obvious its in need of a bit of a sprousing.

As we walked in, people began to bump in to me. Beer cans everywhere. People full on making out, completely neglectful that they are learning on complete strangers. Everyone is absolutely plastered.

Neil directs us to the living room. Jasper sitting on the couch beside Jeremy who has his girl on his lap.

"Hey! I'm so glad you guys can make it. You both are looking beautiful." Jasper stands up from his spot to say hello to Lily and I. I can smell the alcohol in his breath. I look over to the love seat in the corner of the room. It was Ash. His lips were attacking some girls face. For some odd reason my stomach dropped. I don't know why I feel slightly angered, it was probably because he was kind of a dick towards the end of the night yesterday.

"You girls look like you need a drink." Jasper hands us 2 beers. Without hesitation I grabbed it from his hands.

"Since when do you drink?" Lily giggles.

"Guess i'm trying something new." I respond back. Truth is, I don't drink. I've only ever drank the odd few times, but never like I plan on doing tonight.

"Here come sit beside me." Jasper, reaches for my hand and bring me to where he was sitting. Lily and Neil sits on the empty sofa beside Ash and that girl. I Crack open my beer and took a sip. Its bitter, but I guess it's fine for now.

"How are you both? Sorry I couldn't come with last night. Oh and this is my girlfriend Rebecca." Jeremy gestures to this girl on his lap, with curly red hair.

"Hi I'm Stella and that's Lily. It's so nice to meet you." Lily waves from the sofa. I notice Ash is no longer necking the girl, but seems to be afficliated with our conversation. He looks over. I frantically turn back to face Rebecca. I hope he didn't catch me staring.

"Well, It's nice to meet you both" she gives the most genuine smile.

"We are about to play truth or dare. I know it seems kinda clishish, but you've never played with us." Jeremy mentions.

"I'm so down! Who's starting?" Lily voice is full of excitement. My heart begins to race, I didn't want to come here to begin with, and now I feel obligated to play a game I'm not comfortable with.

"I'll start" Ash slurs, he sounds obliviated. "Stella, Truth or dare?" Fuck why did he pick me. He grins as if he enjoys seeing me squirm. The girl on his lap seems to be a bit annoyed that he didn't ask her first.

"T-truth" I stutter.

"How lame, but we'll start off with something simple. Virgin? I mean you sure do seem like you could be one" the crowd 'Oohs" I am repulsed by such a personal question. I made sure to shoot him a glare, making my facial expressions quite obvious that I am not pleased with his choice of words.

"Nope I am not actually." Ash's eyes are narrow, oddly enough he doesn't seem pleased with my response. I took a large chug of my beer, gulping down half of it. Somehow I managed to finish the beer within a few minutes. Jeremy smirks and hands me another one.

"Thirsty much?" he jokes.

"Yep guess I am. Okay Jasper truth or dare?" I ask, he puts his hand on my thigh. I am starting to feel the buzz of the alcohol so I don't bother to move it.

"Dare." he inches his hand higher up to my mid thigh.
