Ally POV

"Ally, time for school," my father yelled.

I trudged out of bed and got ready. Today I decided on a floral tank top, jeans, and my brown ankle boots.

"Another day of hell," I said to myself.

My name is Ally. I always get my way. And I mean ALWAYS. How you might ask? Manipulation. I get people everything for me. Of course I act like a good girl around my parents and teachers. I'm a straight A student so that also helps keep the act up.

Once I finished getting ready I went downstairs said good morning to my dad, grabbed an apple to munch on, and went on my way. The school isn't far from my house so I walk.

As soon as I got there I met up with my best friend Trish.

"Hey Trish" I said to her when I saw her.

"Hey Ally," she said to me.

That's when he walked in. Blonde, hazel eyes, attractive enough.

"Who's the new new kid," I asked Trish.

"That's Austin Moon. He transferred from some fancy boarding school."

"I think I just found my new boy-toy," I said confidently.

"Another one Ally? You just had Gavin last week."

"I don't know.... he seems like he'll last."

"The longest you've had boy was 3 weeks. You wouldn't last a month without switching boys."

"I so can. I'll prove it. I'll keep Austin for a month. If I don't Ill.......," I trailed off thinking of something that wasn't too terrible.

"You have to go shopping with me for a month. And you know how shopping with me can get," she said smirking.

"Trish," I wined. Trish may be my best friend, but shopping with her can be a nightmare.

"If you win I'll get you a new songbook," she said.

I may not be the ideal good girl, but I do have a passion for music. Trish is the only one who knows. If anyone found out my reputation would be ruined.

"But I don't want a new songbook."

"Then I'll get you whatever you want."

"Anything?"

"Anything."

"Fine," I said holding my hand out to Trish to shake. She shook my hand and then the first period bell rang.

"I'll see you at break," Trish said while starting towards the history room.

I closed my locker and started walking to the chemistry lab. That's when I saw him again. He looked lost so I decided to help him as seeing it would make me look more approachable.

"Need some help," I asked him.

"Um u-uh," he stuttered.

"Here let me see your schedule," I said while taking the paper from his hands, "well it looks like we have first, second, and fourth period together. Here follow me," I said then started toward the chemistry lab again with Austin next to me.

"Thanks," he said.

"No problem. You're not from around here are you?"

"Is it that obvious," he asked laughing. I just laughed in response.

"I'm Ally by the way. Ally Dawson."

"I'm Austin. Austin Moon."

"So Austin moon, what are your interests?"

"Music is definitely my passion. My dad wants me to go into business, but music's always been my passion. What about you Ally Dawson. What are your interests."

"That Mr. Moon is a secret." He was about to say something but I cut him off because we had reached the chemistry lab.

"Well here we are," I said. I walked in with Austin behind me.

"Ms. Dawson you are late," Mr. James said.

"I'm sorry sir. Austin got lost and I felt obligated help him out, seeing as no one else was helping him."

"Alright, just don't let it happen again. And Mr. Moon, welcome to Marino high. Class, this is your new student, Austin Moon. I expect you to make him feel welcome here at Marino High," Mr. James said to the class,"since you have already been acquainted with Ms. Dawson here, you can sit together in the back," he said turning to us.

I walked to the back table and sat down. Austin then did the same.

Chemistry was a bore. I zoned out thinking of the new song I was working on. Then the next thing I knew the bell rang. I scribbled down the homework, collected my things, and got up. I saw Austin standing there waiting for me awkwardly.

"Need some help finding the history room?"

He just nodded shyly.

"Here follow me," I said then walked to the history room.

History was also a bore. I zoned out again. But not thinking about my song. I zoned out thinking about the blonde next to me. I know I've only know him for an hour, but he just seems different....... The next bell rang and again I scribbled down the homework.

"Do you do that a lot," Austin asked while I got up.

"What?"

"Zone out."

"I guess you could say that," I said then walked out of the room next to Austin.
