Chapter 6 (Trying New Things)

*Friday*

Amanda

        When I got to school everyone was looking at me and Brady very weirdly! I was getting very creeped out, so I switched my seat. After a couple of minutes of silence the teacher finally came in and announced that Ronnie had a mini speech.

*Ronnie walked to the front of the classroom*

Ronnie- All girls that want to do cheer come meet me in the library at break!

*She walks back to her desk and everyone claps*

      I always skip school time because it's very boring, but now its time for break! I decided to sign up, so I went to the library and of course there were 20 girls in line! After waiting 16 minutes I finally got to sign up.

Ronnie- Amanda what are you doing here?!

Amanda- Signing up!

Ronnie- You're just trying to get popular, so Brady will like you!

Amanda- I wouldn't be saying anything mean to me because I have dirt on you, and I'm not afraid to use it!

*Amanda signs up and walks away*

*When Amanda is walking out of the library Brady grabs her hand, and he drags her to an empty classroom*

Amanda- BRADY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!

Brady- Calm down.

Amanda- Are we going-*He interrupts her*"

Brady- Hel* No.

Amanda- I was about to say! 

Brady- I brought you in here to warn you!

Amanda- What do you mean?

Brady- Ronnie will do anything to get what she wants!

Amanda- I'm not scared of her!

Brady- Well I'm scared for you. 

Amanda- Why?

Brady- Because I-*Bell rings*

Amanda- What?

Brady- I gotta go! *He rushes out the door*

Amanda- Brady wait!

     Whatever Brady was going to tell me, stuck with me throughout the day! At the end of the day I found him walking towards the parking lot, so that's when I went to ask him what he was saying earlier!

Amanda- BRADY, WAIT UP! 

Brady- *He stops* What do you need?

Amanda-I need to know what you were going to tell me at break.

Brady-Wow, you really do hold on to things!

Amanda-It just seemed important.

Brady- Just forget about it.

Amanda- I can't!

Brady- Why!

Amanda- Because it sounded like you were saying you lik- *He interrupts her*

Brady- It's not important anymore!

Amanda- So not liking me isn't important.

Brady- I never said I liked you!

Amanda- You were about too!

Brady- You don't know what I was going to say!

Amanda- All of your opinions get twisted because of Rick, so your right I never know what your going to say!

*She tries to walk away but Brady grabs her shoulder, turns her around and kisses her*

Amanda- So you can kiss me, but not admit that you like me!

Brady- Ok look, I do like you.

Amanda- Wow, that's shocking! *She says sarcastically*

Brady- I just didn't want to tell you because I thought you wouldn't like me back.

Amanda- Oh.

Brady- Welll...

Amanda- What?

Brady- Do you like me?

Amanda- I gotta head home, bye! *She sprints to the bus*

Brady

   And she wonders why I didn't tell her! After that scene I decided to head home. When I got home I couldn't see my Dad anywhere! I went throughout the house and he wasn't there, so I checked the backyard, and there he was! He was putting marijuana in the shed. I knew my Dad was a drug dealer, but nobody else did! My dad also doesn't know that I know, and let's hope it stays that way!
