Chapter 8 (Life Sucks)

*Same Day*

*Seconds of Silence*

Brady-Is Rick gay?

Ronnie-N-*He interrupts her*

Brady-Because that's kinda weird, you know because y'all are dating.

Ronnie-NO HE IS NOT GAY!

Brady-Then why did-*She interrupts him*

Ronnie-Because I like you!

Brady-What?!

Ronnie-Just don't tell Rick.

Brady-He should know.

Ronnie-But if you tell him, he might be upset for the next couple of days; you don't want him upset, do you?

Brady- I guess not.

Ronnie- Good, bye! *She walks to her car and drives away*

*Brady just stood there speechless*

     I decided to get up and walk away, but Brady saw me. 

Brady- Amanda wait! *He says running towards her*

*She keeps walking, while tears are falling off her cheeks*

Brady- Amanda! *He keeps running towards her*

*Amanda's pace quickens, but Brady is able to catch her* 

*He grabs her shoulder and turns her around* 

*Brady saw her tears, and there was complete silence*

*After a couple of minutes, Amanda broke the silence*

Amanda- I gotta go. *She says wiping her tears away*

Brady- Please don't.

Amanda- You betrayed me!

Brady- It wasn't my fault!

Amanda- You're right, it was Ronnie, who is Rick's girlfriend and all of our opinions get twisted because of her and Rick!

Brady- So what about us? *He says while looking at the ground*

Amanda- I guess there is no us. 

*Amanda walks away*

*Brady starts crying and walks to his car*

Amanda

     As I walk away, I could hear Brady starting to cry. I just wanted to run back and kiss him. I knew what he did was awful, so I continued to walk. When I got home I ran strait to my room and started to cry. After an hour of me crying, I hear someone walk into the house. I leave my room to see who it is, it was my Mom! 

Amanda-Mom, where were you?

Mom- At the doctor.

Amanda- Why?

Mom-My cleavage area has been swollen for the past week, so I went to the doctor to see why.

Amanda- And?!

Mom- I found out I have breast cancer.

Amanda- WHAT?!

Mom-I don't want to worry you but...

Amanda- MOM, TELL ME!

Mom-I have stage 5 breast cancer.

Amanda-What does that mean?!

Mom- It has spread throughout my lungs, so I have to go to therapy.

Amanda- NOO!!! *She falls to the ground crying*

Mom- You'll have to live with your Dad for a while.

Amanda- WHERE?!

Mom- You will live in this house, with your father.

Amanda- Where will you be!?

Mom- I'll be living in a care center, so if anything happens people can get to me faster.

*Amanda nods, hugs her Mom and walks back to her room to cry*

     CAN MY LIFE GET ANY WORSE!!!!
