Chapter 18 (No Pulse)

*Thursday*

Brady

WHAT ABOUT FREAKING RONNIE!!!!!!!! BRADY, YOU ARE SO DUMB LIKE WTF!!! WHY WOULD YOU KISS AMANDA?!!!

"You gotta go!" *He says rushing to get off the bed*

Amanda- Why?!

Brady- I can't say but..you should just leave!

Amanda- I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's happening!

Brady's Dad- Brady, I'm coming upstairs! *He says from downstairs*

Brady- You have to hide!!

Amanda- Where?

Brady- Under the bed!

*Amanda crawls under the bed out of sight, just before Brady's dad opens the door*

Brady- Hey, Dad. *He says as his dad opens the door*

Brady's Dad- Son, I need your MacBook.

Brady- Sure, take it! 

*Brady's dad looked confused* 

Brady's Dad- Brady, do you have anything under your bed?

Brady- No...*He says nervously*

Brady's Dad- Or someone under your bed?

Brady- No....

Brady's Dad- Come out Amanda.

*Amanda slowly gets out from under the bed, and they're both confused*

Micheal- Hi Amanda, I'm Micheal Ford. *He says as he shakes Amanda's hand*

Amanda

Meeting Brady's Dad IS WEIRD!! Like he didn't seem like a drug dealer, but I KNOW HE IS!!!!! 

"Hi, my name's Amanda!"

Micheal- Nice to meet you. Now, Brady, I would like your MacBook.

*Brady walks over to grab the MacBook*

Amanda

As Brady was walking to get the MacBook, I started feeling dizzy, my heart starting beating really fast, and I couldn't really breath! 

Brady

Amanda was acting a little weird and  her face was pale, and she looked stressed!

"Here's my Macbook"

*After Brady handed his dad his Macbook, Amanda passed out on the floor*

Brady- OMG AMANDA!!!!

*Micheal runs over to her and checks her pulse*

Micheal- No pulse, we gotta hurry to the hospital!! NOW!

*Brady picked up Amanda and carried her to the car* *He sat with her in the backseat, panicking*

Brady

We finally made it to the hospital! We rushed inside and told a nurse what was happening. They took Amanda into a room, and she's been out of my sight for an hour!!! I didn't want to talk to my dad because Amanda was my main focus! After 2 hours, they finally came out with news! 

"How is she?!" *Brady says getting up from the seat*

Nurse- She's on life support right now, we called her parents and told them the news and they're on there way. 

Brady- Explain more!

Nurse- Her heart is giving out and without life support, she will die.

Brady- How can she live?!

Nurse- The only way she could live a normal life is by someone donating their heart to her!

Brady

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! THE LOVE OF MY LIFE IS BASICALLY DYING!!!!!!! 

*Brady starting crying and had to go to the bathroom because he didn't want to be seen crying*

*An hour later*

Nurse- Brady and Mr. Micheal, would you like to see Amanda?

Micheal- My son would; I'll just wait here.

*They walk down a hallway, and before they enter the room, the nurse stops Brady*

Nurse- Now, there's something I need to say before I let you see her.

Brady- Yes?

Nurse- She's in a coma.

Brady-WHAT?!

Nurse- When her heart shut down, she was basically dead for 15 minutes, but when we revived her the brain thinks that the body is dead.

Brady- How can she be woken up?!

Nurse- Well her heart right now is technically not working properly, so if someone donates a heart we can do a heart transplant. So there's a 70% chance she'll wake up.

Brady- What's the other 30%?

Nurse- That's if the body doesn't want to agree with the new heart.

Brady-.....

*The nurse walks Brady into the room, then cracks the door and leaves*

Brady

Seeing Amanda like this makes me feel awful!!! The nurse said that there's a possibility that she can hear people, so try and talk positive.

"Hi, if you can hear me I just wanted to let you know how much I love you!" "Like I don't think you understand how much I love you." "I'm really tempted to donate my heart to you, but that means I can't live to see your beautiful face!" *He starts tearing up* "I love you so damn much and... like...*He breaks down in tears* And I wish you knew that!" *He says while crying* *He wipes away his tears because he hears someone coming down the hall*

Justin-Amanda! *He runs over to her bed and looks at her with tears in his eyes*

Brady- What are you doing here?!

Justin- I'm here to see my girlfriend! Why are you here?!

Brady- She's my gir...she's my best friend!

Justin- Whatever. 

Brady- Look, man, I don't want to start a fight in front of her, especially if she can hear us!

Justin- This is the most agreeable thing you've said.

*The guys sit in the room, while Amanda's Dad walked in, as well as the nurse* *She talked to us a little bit more about her being in a coma* *The day ended with Brady leaving the hospital at 1 am and going straight to bed when he got home*
