Chapter 9 (Friends, Maybe More)

Amanda

*Sunday*

     I had cried for the rest of the night, until I fell asleep. When I woke up, I put on this outfit.

I decided to go on a walk to clear my mind. I put my earbuds in and started to walk around the block. As I was walking, I saw a familiar face jogging behind me! Of course, it was Brady because who else would it be! I tried to walk away but he always catches up. 

Brady- Amanda, talk to me! 

*She kept her back towards him*

Brady- Amanda! 

*He turns her around and now they're looking at each other*

Amanda- Leave me alone! 

Brady- No!

Amanda- Why can't you just stay away from me!

Brady- Because...

*She rolls her eyes and turns to walk away, but Brady pulls her to his chest and kisses her*

Amanda-If you think kissing me is going to get me back, then you're wrong!

Brady- I'm not that kind of guy!

Amanda-Well, your lips say different!

Brady- Don't leave me!

Amanda- You cheated and betrayed me!

Brady- I'm sorry.

Amanda- So am I, because I thought for a split second that I could like you, but I guess I was wrong!

Brady- But I...

Amanda- Bye Brady. *She walks home*

*Brady starts to cry*

      When I got home suitcases were in the living room, along with my Mom and Dad! 

"Mom, Dad?"

Mom- Come give me a hug before I leave.

*She runs to her Mom and gives her a hug*

Amanda-I don't want you to leave! *She starts crying*

Mom-I love you, honey. 

Amanda- I love you, too.

*Mom wipes away her tears*

Mom- Bye, I'll be back soon. 

*She walks out the door and leaves in a uber*

   My mom leaving just adds to my stress level! After a couple if hours, I check to see if my Dad is asleep, and he is! I grab my spare keys to the house and head to my favorite place! I go to the river where me and my Mom used to feed ducks, when I was younger! I sit on the bench and look at the stars. I stared at them for about 15 minutes, until I heard footsteps! It was completely dark, besides the stars lighting a small amount of light, but I couldn't see anything! As I was backing up, I fell into the pond and got soaked with water! The figure moved closer! I tried to get out of the water, but I was stuck! The figure grabbed what looks like a flashlight and lit up their face, so I could see them. It was Brady. *I rolled my eyes* 

"You scared me!"

Brady- I'm sorry.

Amanda- What do you have in your left hand?

Brady- It's a basket with food, drinks, and lanterns to light up the sky, oh and blankets.

Amanda- Why are you doing this?

Brady- Because I will do anything to get you back.

Amanda-Well, you can start by helping me up.

*He walks over to her, places the flashlight on the ground, and reaches his hand out* 

*She grabs his hand and pulls him into the water with her*

Brady- You little-*She interrupted him*

Amanda- You said you would do anything to get me back, and that may involve getting a little wet. *She laughs at her pun*

*They both start to laugh*

*Brady then grabs her arm and kisses her*

Amanda- Can we get out now. 

*Brady helps Amanda get out and himself as well*

*Brady lays out the first blanket, then raps her into the second one*

*They sit together eating and watching the stars*

*After an hour, Brady looks at Amanda*

Brady- I need to tell you something.

Amanda- Ok.

Brady- I..I..

Amanda- What?

Brady- I can't say it.

Amanda- Maybe I should go.

Brady- Please don't.

Amanda- It's getting late, bye Brady. *She kisses him on the cheek*

Brady

I grab my flashlight and head home. When I get home I go to my room and think about Amanda. I keep trying to tell her "I love you" but I just can't! I couldn't go to sleep, so I looked up what it meant if you couldn't speak to a girl properly. I kept searching till I found exactly what I needed, it said "If you are struggling to tell a girl, I love you, that means you have never been in love before and your scared your going to mess up the relationship." That explained my life perfectly.
