"He only has minor injuries to his solar plexus and bruising to the left side of his jaw," Recovery Girl told me whilst wrapping gauze around my burns. "I'd heal him, but it seems that his body was under extreme stress while fighting you. I'm not sure if he'll be able to provide the energy necessary to heal."

I breathed out my nose, going over all of the events that had just happened. Karafuru sat in the chair against the wall, intently staring at the blond as if he'd rise and attack again at any given moment. I, too, had my suspicions, but there was no way he was waking up anytime soon. He dealt a hard hit when I sent him into dreamland.

"Yuki," Recovery Girl snapped her fingers in front of my face. "I know that look of yours. What're you thinking about?"

"His actions were strange," I replied, setting my chin in between my thumb and index finger as I thought. "It isn't out of the ordinary for Bakugou to suddenly let out a flurry of explosions on someone, but something about him just didn't feel right."

"How do you mean?" She asked, swiveling back to his bedside to check on him.

"He's usually coordinated with his attack patterns," I explained. "He thinks them out and he's precise, but just now he was attacking blindly. He wasn't responsive when I called out to him, either."

"What are you getting at?"

"It's not far fetched," I justified. "But it's possible that Bakugou was under some kind of mind control."

"Maybe you should run this by Principal Nezu," Recovery Girl suggested, turning to me. "It sounds an awful lot like Dream Walker's doing."

"I already sent him an email," I said, gesturing to the mobile still in my pocket. "I don't understand how Dream Walker could know of my return, however."

"He has goons all over the city," Recovery Girl said. "It's highly likely that one of them saw you and relayed the message."

I bit my cheek at that and looked down.

"Still," I muttered. "Doing something like this seems uncharacteristic for him. When he wants something, Dream Walker sets out to get it himself."

"Maybe he's changing up his strategy," Nezu's voice broke into the conversation and I looked up. "It's not unlikely that Dream Walker is switching things up to mislead us."

"It's not like he hasn't done so before." Karafuru spoke up to agree.

I felt like an outcast, but shook off the ridiculous feeling as Nezu approached me.

"You took on third degree burns," he observed, taking up my gauzed arm in his paw. "It looks to me that Bakugou, or whoever it was controlling him, intended on killing you or at the very least incapacitating you."

I narrowed my eyes as I thought. It was clear that we were running out of time.

"It doesn't make any sense, though," I mumbled more to myself then anyone else. "I don't remember anything about Dream Walker being able to control someone unless he was using them as a vessel."

My eyes flicked toward Bakugou.

"I suppose we'll find out what really happened when he wakes up," Nezu said calmly, setting my arm back down gently on my lap. "For now all we can do is wait until then."

I didn't like the idea of waiting, but it wasn't like I could hunt Dream Walker down and bust into whatever hideout he had set up for himself. I didn't like the fact that he may have used Bakugou to kill me, or that he wasn't man enough to face me himself. I didn't like that my control of the situation was ripped out of my hands, either.
