New secrets

I raised the balm of my hand radiating enough fire to knock the thing off Scott. It rose to its feet and charged at me. I flipped over the coffee table landing with my feet firm on the couch. "Aloramiafornaldo" I said causing a bright bolt of lighting to strike him. No effect. He smirked and charged at me. I raised my hand and he froze with a swift motion he flew back. "thank you can stop me?how pathetic there isn't enough power in you to stop what's coming little witch this is one battle you can't win,"he said laughing as he charged again. I panicked but before I could do anything he fell forward his heart ripped clean from his chest. When I looked up Derek was standing there with blood covered hands and bright blue eyes his face was transformed into his werewolf form. "Looks like you aren't the only one with a secret,"he said moving around me to get to an unconscious Scott."Derek i-" "you have a lot of explaining to do Sky,"he said cutting me off taking Scott upstairs. I nodded and waited for his return.

      Derek's pov:

After laying Scott down I returned to Sky. I took a seat next to her on the couch. "what are you?"I asked. "A witch," she said meekly. "but how? why didn't you tell anyone?" I asked. There was a long silence before Sky spoke. "I was born this way. I had always had trouble controlling my magic but one night after my mom and dad split my magic got really out of hand. I almost,"she paused letting a tear fall," killed Scott on accident and so my mom thought Itd be best to go live with my dad till I learned to control my magic and eventually I did so I came back. No one was supposed to find out." She looked down as more tears fell. I reached over and pulled her into a side hug She hid her face in my neck as she let more tears fall. "Don't worry your secrets safe with me," I said trying to reassure her. She pulled back and wipped her eyes. "thanks Derek,"she said kissing my cheek.

       Sky's pov:

After Derek left I went straight to my room and pulled out my Grimor. After ages of searching I finally found what they were. I took a picture on my phone and sent it to Derek. His reply came quick my house in ten bring the book and stuff for school tomorrow it's gonna be a long night"

    I went to my closet grabbed a pair of jean shorts my black converse and my black tank top. I put the clothes the book my makeup and my charger along with my laptop all into an over night bag grabbed my backpack and purse then headed out. I wrote my mom and Scott a note before leaving.

     When I arrived at Derek's he was already waiting on the porch. He helped carry my stuff inside and upstairs to a large bedroom at the end of the hall. "okay let's get to work,"he said sternly. I nodded talking a seat on The bed pulling my book and laptop out. I flipped to the page and began to read. "Crisans are mythological demons who's main goal is power. They thrive off the magic of the most strongest beings. It says here that their leader feel in love with a witch who ended up betraying him and trapping him inthe downland and now the crisans must work to free there leader hiazon. But in order to free hiazon they must suck the life source out of a witch. And if they get hiazon back they will cause havoc and war and destroy the world that hid the witch that imprisoned him." "is there anyway to stop them?"Derek asked. I skimmed the page and found what he was looking for. "A spell can be used but only with the scearm and a shot preferably a huntress must be sout but screamer blood is what you got," I said laying the book down. "A riddle they want us to solve a riddle?" Derek said pissed. I grabbed his arm and gave him the it's okay look. He looked at me for moment the sat down.

    I'm not sure when I fell asleep but I woke up to the sound of my alarm,I was entangled in Derek's arm's cuddled to his chest. "stay,"he said tiredly. "I can't I have school and work tonight.," I said sitting up.Derek sat up to he looked at me for a moment then leaned in. His lips met mine at first I was hesitant then I kissed back. It was like instant fireworks. He pulled back and looked at me."at least let me take you to school,"he said. I nodded and got up. Yup I definitely liked Becan Hills.
