A/N: I hope your proud of my pun, 'Cause I'm not.
You sat on the park bench. Or at least, that's what you assumed it was from the way it felt. Your walking stick rested next to you, and you listened to the sounds around you, letting it all soak in.
Birds chirping, rustling leaves, distant people talking. Spring was probably your favorite season. So many pretty sounds and smells. If only you could see the colors everyone talks about. From what you heard, Spring is the most colorful season, depending on where you lived.
You heard footsteps getting closer to you, and then felt the weight of someone sitting next to you.
"It's really pretty here, isn't it?" it was a man's voice. You fiddled with your hands a bit. He probably couldn't tell you were blind yet.
"Yes, the sounds, the smells....of course, I can't see, could you describe some of the colors for me?" you asked politely.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize--"
"It's fine," you assured him.
"Well, then," He started, "There's a lot of green. It's a very refreshing color. Like new life, nature. It would smell like pine or freshly cut grass..."
You listened to him go on about the colors. Red like passion and roses, the color of confidence. Blue like the smell of the ocean, or blueberries, the color of wisdom and calm. It was relaxing listening to him talk, and it gave you an idea of what it would be like to see these colors.
After he was done, there was a silence between you two.
"Thank you," you smiled.
"You're welcome. My name's Tom, by the way," he introduced himself.
"I'm (Y/N)."
"You know, it's funny, I actually have no eyes...and yet I can see, but you...you have eyes, and yet you're blind," he chuckled.
"I guess you could call it...eyeronic," You laughed to yourself. Man, you're hilarious. You heard Tom chuckle.
"Do you...want to hang out some time?" He asked. You felt him shifting somewhat awkwardly.
"Of course!"
A/N: Phew! I finally did some writing for once! I almost never have ideas for stories or motivation to write them. I hope you liked this! This is literally the first fanfiction that I've published to the internet, and honestly, I doubt it'll get much attention. I hope to have more ideas and motivation soon!
For this particular oneshot, I wanted to make it longer, but I had no clue how to. So, that's that! I really would like feedback and your thoughts on it!
Until next time!

Hayran KurguAlrighty, well, I'm sure you can guess what this book is going to be about. I've written fanfiction before, but I've never finished any, and I've never published any. So this is kinda new to me! But I hope you like this! And if you're worried about...
