Merlin's POV
As I pack my bags to leave, Gaius
Comes into my room and says
"We'll see each other soon the king needs you"
" I wish I could believe that" I say taking the bag of food Gaius has prepared for me.
I take a horse and ride to my mothers outlying village.
There I can start a new life. I stop to give water to my horse, one that Arthur gave to me. I miss him so much.
When the darakas attacked last year I felt closer to Arthur than I ever have before. I want that feeling back but I'm guessing it'll will never be the same.
Now I feel as him if the daraka had attacked me again I feel cold and I feel nothing.
