CHAPTER 43

“Okay so, we went shopping, we had lunch, went to the toy store and had the worlds greatest hot chocolate ever.” I said going through everything we had done today. “now, I want to go back to the hotel, please Liam.. i'm so tired and that's all I wanted to do today was relax. It is my birthday after all.”

we were on a random street in America wandering around. It had been 3 weeks since I had moved in with Liam and he had to go on tour a few days after we got settled in. some how our little move got out to the press and the fans went wild. Some were extremely opinionated and others were supportive and nice. And now it was my birthday and I was in California with Liam. We were staying at a really fancy hotel with the boys, Eleanor, and the newest addition to the girlfriend club, Marisa, Harry's girlfriend. She was a 17 year old that met Harry during a meet and greet a few months back. They finally went public and now cannot be separated.

Liam laughed nodding before pecking my lips quickly and grabbing my hand walking me to the hotel. It wasn't a long walk but the fact that I had been walking all day didn't make me very happy. My feet ached and all I really wanted to do was go back and relax watching movies with Liam. I was so happy to be able to spend my birthday here with Liam, he had surprised me with tickets just a week before telling me I would be spending a week or two with him in the States. In all honesty I wouldn't have cared if I was only able to see him today. I was just happy I could see him after so long. Video chatting was just not cutting it.

We walked into the massive hotel and going straight to our suite. When we got there I should have been expecting it. But of course I flipped out when everyone jumped out from behind the couch and yelled 'surprise' at me. I covered my face in embarrassment laughing away. “You guys scared me! Don't do that!” I laughed at them as they all came over giving me hugs.

“Sorry babe!” Eleanor giggled pulling me into a hug. “didn't mean to frighten you! Happy birthday!” I hugged her back before turning to Liam and putting my hands on my hips raising an eyebrow.

He laughed pulling me in by the waist and pecking my lips.

“oh yuck! Save that for the bedroom!” Louis yelled, I laughed turning round and sticking my tongue out at him.

“shut up, you do the same with El.” he winked pulling Eleanor to his side and kissing her cheek. She blushed looking away and giggling. Harry wrapped his arms around Marisa and rested his head on her shoulder. I turned to see Niall looking at Zayn sadly and Zayn wrapped his arm round Niall's shoulder.

“what's wrong buddy?” Zayn inquired.

“Nothing... just that, all the couples are acting all cute and cuddly and I'm here with no one.” Zayn laughed patting the poor Irishman's head.

“that's okay! I'm here buddy!” Niall pushed Zayn off him grumbling something about mopping round and eating ice cream. I laughed rolling my eyes, drama queen. We all went over to the couches sitting down and putting in one of my favourite movies of all time. Princess Bride.

By the end of the movie I was cuddled up with Liam my eyes glued to the screen, not caring that earlier on Niall dumped a bowl of popcorn on me leaving some of the pieces in uncomfortable places. We had all changed into a PJ's and were now heading to the little kitchen area for Cake. They all started singing the famous tune 'Happy Birthday To You' as I awkwardly stood there waiting for them to finish. They all started yelling make a wish and blow out the candles as they finished, I closed my eyes trying to find the perfect wish. But all the things that I really wanted were right here. I had everything that I could ever want and more. So I just made the obvious wish; for everything to stay as perfect as it was right now.
