Reunion With Ruby

(Y/n) POV

Last night was something. Torchwick escapes again, you saw Ruby Rose again, and Ozpin didn't call you for a favor involving his close allies. It involved (y/n) attending Beacon and "Spider-Man" moving his base of operations

(Y/n): Okay so I need to avoid Ruby and Yang. Yang hates my guts for no reason and Ruby would probably never forgive me if I appeared out of the blue. It would confuse her too.

But as (y/n) moved carefully in the bulkhead he heard a certain blond teasing her sister. He looked over as soon as Ruby was turning around.

(Y/n):Shit.

Ruby:.....(Y/n)

Yang:Oh hey (y/n). Long time no see.

(Y/n):Ok this is not Yang. She is being nice to me. Why are you being nice to me Yang?

Yang:Well (y/n) (l/n) people change.

(Y/n):That's good. *looks at ruby* Say can I speak to your sister for a minute Yang?

Yang:Sure.

Yang leaves as Ruby turns to (y/n)

Ruby:4 years (y/n).

(Y/n):Yeah I k-

Ruby:Why? If you were alive why did you not come back?

(Y/n):*scratches head* Some nice person took me in as a student of sorts.

Ruby:Great the guy I like a lot thought whoever was caring for him was more important than seeing me again. That hurts.

Ruby:Ok you should tell me about that sometime.

(Y/n):So you gonna be the bee's knees.

Ruby:Yang said something similar. I don't want to be "the bee's knees". I don't want to be any kind of "knees"! I just want to be a normal girl, with normal knees.

(Y/n):Interesting. I want to just camouflage with the crowds and be normal socially and with my studies. *laughs nervously*

A man comes running through trying to get to a trash can

(Y/n):Huh my boots feel weird.

A/n:Oh yes I should mention your school and normal attire is similar to Peter Parker's Spectacular Spider-Man design.

Ruby:Oh! (Y/n) gross, you have puke on your shoe! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me! Get away from me!

Yang:*looks at (y/n) and Ruby* I can't believe I was mad at my crush back then. I think it was because he always hung out with Ruby instead of me. I might be two years older than him but we're not that apart in age. He could have been nervous due to our age difference. Yeah maybe that's it.

Just then the bullhead lands and everyone exits. You say your goodbyes to Ruby as you see Ozpin waiting for you.

(Y/n):So I guess I'm skipping the Beacon fetch quest tomorrow? Do I still get XP? Will the trophy pop up in the corner?

Ozpin:Yes you will be skipping the initiation. I should inform you that I will train you myself on how to fight people like an expert. Fighting Grimm however will become a new side job for Spider-Man.

(Y/n):What Hunter weapons am I gonna use without being Spider-Man?

Ozpin:Your fists and legs just without shooting webs.

(Y/n):Deal.

Ozpin:I have to make a speech now but you may feel free to talk to me later.

(Y/n):Fine professor. See you around.

As (y/n) (l/n) walks away, a figure watches in the distance.

???:This will add a whole new layer to the plans. Most definitely.

A/n:So tell me what you guys like about this so far? I feel as if I should tell you guys what villains I am planning to bring into this but spoilers. One hint was already dropped if i'm correct. I plan to make this go until Volume 3 then make a second book for Volumes 4 and 5. Thanks for reading and I will see you guys next time.
