What a Shocker! (VOLUME #2 END PART 3/3)

(Y/n) POV

That's how it was supposed to be. Us charging at them...but something wasn't right. Something changed. Something not normal. It felt like a ret-con. Like everything before and after the explosion changed in the blink of an eye. I fell to my feet and felt my legs shake as the adrenaline was lost and my wounds were kicking in. I then felt new memories being put it instead of old ones. Peter is still dead but Miles is the new Spider-man of Earth. My family isn't dead and they weren't assholes. That silver eye problem with me is gone. Yang and I aren't in a relationship and I just crossed into this dimension around the time the lab exploded and it was still my fault. No Remnant Avengers. No Noctis. No future kids. Ruby and Blake not together. Nothing. Just normal. I still had Scorpion it seems along with Mysterio during the first year but no popping up of a Venom or Flumen. My past just is rewritten. They also don't know I am Spider-man except for Ozpin and the rest of his little group.

(Y/n): I can...I can live with that.

I feel my legs stop shaking as I look at my suit and see no symbiote.

(Y/n): Ok...what now?

I feel Yang calling my ear piece and decide to answer, reminding myself I am in some sort of new reality and to not try anything from the past like flirting right now.

Yang: (Y/n) you there?

(Y/n): *clears throat* Yes. Was the mission complete?

Yang: The train went ahead while you were doing recon and to make a long story short...we won.

(Y/n): Okay. Is Torchwick in jail?

Yang: Yes but that villain named Shocker who hates Spider-Man escaped somehow and he was carrying a briefcase.

Ok, he is here too. Wonder if everyone except Flumen made it over to this...weird new reality.

(Y/n): Anything on it that looked weird?

Yang: It was labeled C.A.R.N.A.G.E.

FUCK.

(Y/n):Ok...I will meet you guys soon.

Yang: Alright. Make sure you don't run into that villain since Spidey isn't around.

(Y/n): Alright see you later.

I hang up and get hit from behind by a shockwave. I get up to see Shocker with a yellow hoodie up, red jeans, his trademark shockwave silver gauntlets, and a yellow mask with goggles.

Shocker: You know back at the farm I had to deal with maggots like you?

(Y/n): Spiders are arachnids and not maggots. A larva is a maggot. Isn't it SHOCKING?

He shot a shockwave at me but I didn't dodge in time as he holds me to the ground as I web the gauntlet and dropkick his face in as he backs away shooting.

(Y/n): You remind me of Old McDonald except you aren't old.

Shocker: I am not a man yet and neither are you Spider-boy!

I keep dodging and swinging until he shockwaves an old car which smacks me in the chest but I recover by swinging to the roof of an old gas station.

(Y/n): Tell me...on Remnant are rednecks still cousin fuckers?

I keep dodging but realize my stamina is going out quickly soon. I simply jump over him and web him into a car knocking him out.

(Y/n): Why was that easy?

I then felt a shockwave against my back as I was shot into another building. Great

Shocker: Seriously? Why are you so off your game?

??? : Maybe he just wants some company. Hehehehehehe...

I saw a red flash in front of me as I had to dodge red axes being swung in my face and near my chest. He got me a few times however as I seemed to be bleeding with multiple cuts.

Carnage: We really have to play with him some more.

Shocker: We can't. The Mastermind said to wait.

Carnage: *growls* Our fun will come soon Spidey.

I saw them leave by some weird teleportation device as I webbed my way back to Beacon and into the dorm room of Team RWBY, realizing there is a 5th bed tied upside down to the ceiling. Everyone looked in my direction seemingly happy I was ok.

Yang: Seriously though. Recon? You have no semblance. Are you insane?

Well yes, Yang. Yes, I am. I am in some new reality after all.

(Y/n): Oh boy bed.

Yang: What?

(Y/n): I am exhausted after all that recon...yes...recon.

Everyone looked puzzled as I somehow was able to get to my upside down bed and sleep. What the hell happens next is on me.

I wanted to make this chapter showing the direction I want to take the story now. At some point when I feel comfortable, I will bring old plot lines back but I made this a big retcon simply because I know what I want to do now. Expect a chapter tomorrow for Spider-Man PS4 launch celebration.
