"Another one" I said requesting for a drink. I was at Midnight Peak again since i couldn't enjoy it the last time. It's been at least an hour or so of straight shots of liquor. I still couldn't believe what happened today. A shoot out at Souls, of all places. I replayed the moment over in my head. Something is off though. Even when i walked in they knew who I was looking for. I groaned to myself frustrated with everything. If i didn't have to do Amara this favor i wouldn't be in this mess. In fact i would be onto the next. I hate people who slow me down or get in my way. The bartender slid another glass across the bar with ease. I caught my glass swirling it before i took another sip. I wish life was simpler. I mean my job is simple, my purpose is simple, why can't the people in my life act the same. Why do i want to run away from the only home i have?

The cool air from the vent above comforted my hand cooling me down. I heard the door open from across the room causing me to que in. And it was only then i had seen her again. Here i thought I lost her, even in my dreams. Seeing her in the flesh is refreshing. I just want to love, hug, and touch her. Too bad she only existed in my dreams we could have been steady if it was real. But I can always start now. I remove my glare and remained focused on my drink. I could feel her energy inching closer to me until it stopped. She sat beside me glancing directly at me. "Hey, what's your name?" she said introducing herself. I turned over staring at her hand in awe. Play hard Kai. I cleared my throat, strengthening my expression. What does she even see in me? "Why should I tell you?" I asked challenging her trance. "I'm Karhé" she said with a smile. I nodded my head drinking the remnants of my beverage. Getting up from my seat I left a twenty dollar bill walking straight out. As soon as I exited the door I jumped around like a youngin'. Young and dumb. Meeting someone never made me so happy. "Wait...." a voice said scaring me. I jumped stopping what i was originally doing. I felt a hand touch my arm causing me to turn around. It was her, Karhé. Something about her name felt familiar. She felt familiar, while i foolishly drool. "Yes?" I finally responded. "You left your phone" she said handing it to me. "Thank you" I said with a slight smile. Her eyes carefully followed me as i made my way to my car.

I blinked hard making sure this wasn't a dream. I just met the girl in my dreams. Literally. Wow she's beautiful though, exactly how i'd imagine her. Her presence took my breath away and always will. I hope i can see her again. She seems like a nice trip. Never would've thought she would show up. Smiling to myself reminded me of the good days, where things were better. Going to her might just be my way out.

A sinner and it's lover embarks the power like no other

Reaching home, i had came to a car in my driveway. It's Amaranthine, great. I entered the house feeling like i just walked into a movie. My surround system blasted noise off of the walls. "You're home" she said turning off the TV. "What's up?" I said confronting her. "Nothing what's up with you? I kinda want my friend back" she said giving me a look. "Okay, when was i not your friend?" I asked folding my arms. "I-You're just conflicting Kai. One moment i think you like me, and then you want me out your house. What is it?" she said coming closer. "I should be asking you that. In fact let's return to the fact that all you do now of days is make demands out of me. I'm not your servant, I'm your friend. You should have also mentioned when you became lonely. Maybe then you wouldn't be as convinced" i said growing heated. "Stop being a nag, You know damn well you were never there for me and betrayed me. You just move on so fast that it hurts even more" she said gaining attitude. "You keep on getting hurt by me and i just want it to stop. Look i'll kill Stefan, that's fine but y-we can't be like this....Can you please go" I requested. She rolled her eyes snatching her phone along with her. I watched her storm out, slamming the door behind her.
