Weeks had passed with no sign of Amaranthine. She hasn't called, texted, or pop by. I guess that's what happens when you cross the line from being friends. To be honest i'm quite happy she hasn't bothered me. Those weeks without her were pretty chill if you ask me. I'm not entirely happy either, it sucks that i lost a 'friend' in her. Like everyone else i gotta keep moving. I stared down at my grumbling stomach. I haven't had the time to eat lately either. I've been working non-stop to make sure i'm set. I grabbed my keys heading out the house. I decided to look for something to eat.
I'm down for you
I walked into Panera Bread waiting patiently in the line. I looked around noticing the colors of everyone's personality. Today I wore black, what would that mean? I was the only down side to the atmosphere. I took my phone from my pocket hoping to burn off time. An arm bumped into me with a sorry following shortly after. "It's okay" I said making eye contact with the person. My expression suddenly changed to confusion and slight annoyance. "You're kidding me" I spat out. Karhe rolled her eyes as she stood behind me in the line. "Are you following me?" i asked turning around. "Don't flatter yourself" She said with a smirk.
I went through receiving my food sitting down at a table in the far corner of the place. We had parted ways but i spotted her, keeping a close eye. It's something about the way she talks to me. She knows something. I shoved a piece a bread in my mouth as I continued to daze. Our eyes met again provoking a raised eyebrow. Embarrassment was expressed in my ears. What can I say to possibly make this better. She smiled getting up from her seat walking towards me. When she walks it's like she splits reality apart making her seem like a fantasy. "Why were you staring?" She asked. I choked on my bread before I swallowed. "I don't know" I said scratching the back of my head." You know what I've decided something" she said with bright eyes. "What is that?" I asked. "Let's go on a date" she said making me red. My ears grew extremely hot in an instant. "Excuse me?" I said trying to understand. "I want to go on a date with you. I think you're interesting and I want to get to know you." She insisted. I didn't know whether to say yes and look like a fool, or reject her seeming more like a jerk. I had absolutely no words for her gesture. Besides having an absolute attraction for her she's given me no reason but to think that she's suspicious. My mind is saying one thing but my heart races for her. I stared into her eyes reaching my conclusion. "When?" I asked dryly. Keep it cool. "Right now, I was actually going to watch a movie by myself after this. Come with me." She said licking her lips. I'm an idiot, an idiot in love.
We were seated close to each other confined by the dark theater. The crisp sound of her sipping onto her sprite entered my ears. We were watching the movie American Assassin. Her life and everything she does is just full of irony. I looked over at her while the movie began to play. In fact I wasn't even paying attention to the movie I had no idea what was even around me. My focus remained on Karhé. What is she like? Why does she like me? What makes her so special? How is she so beautiful? Why does she keep on saving me? How does she know who I am? Questions kept forming in my mind. She turned her head over to me staring in delight. She held her hand out hoping that I would join. I stared at her hand astonished that I'm not making the first move anymore. I chuckled to myself enjoying my hands in hers. They felt so warm. Her palms were extremely soft it's almost like they were touched by heaven.
She's my guardian angel
