Chapter 25

*Jasmin's POV*

I grabbed the keys to the car that was supposed to be for me and Mike (you know..before I forced Marco to come with us) and then put my shoes on.

I turned the tv off and then grabbed a piece of paper and a pen before writing Mike and Marco a quick note, telling them I was going after Robert with help from my momma. I also wrote that they shouldn't try stopping me cause no matter what, he got my family and I won't stop till I get my family back.

I left that on the kitchen counter before grabbing my phone, phone charger, water, and some trail mix before putting them in a bag and leaving out of the house.

I took in a deep breath of fresh air and went to the black Toyota Corolla before getting in and closing the door.

I started the car and pulled off, making sure the gate was locked.

I had to stop because Marco's security put their hands out.

"Miss Brown, where are you going?" One of the security men, Jacob asked

"To surprise Marco and Mike on their date" I said while smiling "Don't tell but me and the baby miss them so I'm heading to Fiona's to see them"

"Are you?" He asked with a raised eyebrow

This is where my pregnancy hormones come into play.

My face scrunched up and tears started falling down my face. I let out a sob and saw Jacob's eyes widen.

"I-I just want t-to be with them. I wanna get out the house and-and be a third wheel and cockblock and smile in their faces when they kiss. The baby keeps making me sad and I just don't know what to do" I told him while sobbing

"U-Ummm.." He trailed off while looking away awkwardly

"Miss Brown, you may go but please stop crying" Kenze, the other security guard, said

I slowly stopped "crying" and wiped my tears away before giving them a smile.

"Thank you" I said "I'll tell Marco to raise you guys' pay up"

With that being said, I pulled off.

When I stopped at a red light, I looked down at my bump and smiled.

"Once again baby, you helped me" I said

*10 minutes later*

I parked in the parking lot and put my sunglasses on before opening the car door and closing it.

I currently had on some spandex and a big black shirt with my black foams and my hair in a ponytail. My cross purse was over my shoulder too.

It's a bummy day.

I walked into the store and went straight to the back where no one was. I didn't need anyone trying to talk to me, not being mean or anything.

I'm just focused on getting my husband and daughter back.

I put my head down on the table, waiting for momma to come.

"Hello ma'am, I'm your waiter for today. Are you ok?" I heard and looked up to see this nice looking white boy staring a me with concern

I looked at his name tag for his name.

"Hi Xavier. Yes, I'm ok. Just tired. But umm...I'm not really ready to order yet. I'm still waiting for someone" I told him

"Oh, it's alright! Just call me when you're ready" He said before giving me a polite smile and walking away

I like him.
