" Butterflies never see the color of their wings, but the human eyes know how beautiful it is,. Likewise, you don't know how beautiful you are, but others can see your beautiful wings."
Carter Mason couldn't understand why she had been the only girl out of all 6 of her sisters to be born blind. It wasn't fair in any way-shape- or form. Shutting everyone out had just became a habit, and pretty soon an addiction. The feeling of being able to control at least something in her life made her feel better.
However, she didn't plan to meet Walter Green at the grocery store, and she definetly didn't plan to fall in love with him.. but what can she say? It was fate.

" Hold out your hand, Carter." Walter pestered, his voice growing increasingly anxious. I complied- holding my hand into the air. Not a word had been said for quite some time and i had started to wander if he had left me, that is until the slightest of sounds filled the silence.
At first it had been barely audiable, and increasingly the tiny flapping of wings filled the air, and then something landed in the palm of my hand.
I lifted my other hand carefully guiding it towards my other hand, before i softly brushed against the wings of what i presume is a butterfly.
"It's so beautiful." I cried, my fingers continuing to run down the wings.
And softly, so softly it had almost been carried away in the wind, i heard Walter whisper.
"Now you know how i see you. "
I know, it's kinda bad.. but you can make adjustments !!
