If anyone knew anything about pain- it would be Jasper Crook. The only boy in the whole world who is able to see it for what it is, not only is he a danger to society- but a danger to everyone around him. Including the ones he loves.
Defying the system wasn't part of the plan, especially not with a fugitive like Jasper- but something about him drew her in. Maybe it was the way he kidnapped her- and covered her mouth with dora duck tape- or maybe it was the mystery behind him that no one dared to even try to figure out. However; Reggan definetly wasn't most people.
Together, they will discover that even though they may be in the same world, they all have different demons to fight.... and sometimes those demons win.
