Chloe Evans didn't see anything wrong with her life, she was the captain of the cheer AND dance team, she was always allowed to host the most insane parties, and she could use her undeniable beauty to it's full extent.
With waist length shimmering Maroon hair, and bright blue eyes that reflected the sky on a cloudy day, nothing could go wrong. Chloe was the definition of perfect- but in whose dictionary?
Chloe was also mean, arrogant, and spiteful. Leading a trail of stumped toes, and broken hearts. No one expected for the queen B to trickle down the social ladder to 'somebody that you used to know' .
After an accident that changed her very life, Chloe is left without a left leg and scars marking her body. Chloe goes from a 10 to a 0. As fast as a blink of an eye.
Justin Rivera couldn't understand why God dragged him back to Virginia, where all his scars seemed to be open for the world to see. It was where he had seen his mother brutally murdered, before he was scarred himself. With a long scar on the side of his face, and down one arm he received nothing but sympathetic looks and pity gazes.
However he had come to terms with his scars, no matter how bad they hurt because he found something worth more.

Becoming a struggling Christian had proven to be more than just a little difficult. Justin didn't understand why God had planted him in the middle of a town where trouble surrounded every corner, little did he know someone hurting just as much as he did lived around the corner.
Together Justin and Chloe must find the importance of mending scars, and adjusting to a new lifestyle.
