What would you do if you were given the chance to read your life? Read about every single mistake you have ever made, read about how many times your heart has been broken, what if you were given the chance to read your future?
Kara Knight hadn't expected an old man about the same age as the Capitol building to come rushing up to her, his shiny yellow teeth gleeming in the dim glow from the street lights. Kara definetly didn't expect him to thrust a big- leather bound book in her hand either. Before she could even get a word out he had dissapeared into the dark of the night.
for days, the leather bound book stay on her coffee table taking up room, until one day she actually opens the book to read what's inside, and what she finds isn't what she had been expecting at all.
As Kara continues to read the book she soon realizes that this book is a book of her life- and quickly things turn from bad to worse. That old man showed up multiple times in her dreams- warning her about reading further than what she already knew- warning her about the danger in altering the future.... but.. wouldn't you want to know how you die?

" You have to be aware of the things surrounding you, Kara. Nothing is as it seems. You may think you know everything about your life- but things are about to change. I warned you about reading how your life ends, and now you've changed the course of your life. Your no longer going to die when your 75, but now? Now you'll die whenever they catch you. " The old man barks, his lips pulling into a smile.
"Wait ! What's going to catch me?" I plead, tears spilling down my cheeks.
" The Moon-walkers. I wish you the best of luck, but now this is out of my hands. " And just like that, he vanished.
