It had been three glorious weeks for the now only son of the Raynott Household.

Andrew was making his way down the corridor toward his father's office. Apparently there was something important he wanted to tell him. With a grin on his face, he knocked politely on the wooden door of the office.

"Come in." Mr. Raynott's familiar voice responded.

Andrew opened the door and entered the small yet cozy room. The walls were lined in bookshelves containing rows and rows of books. There was a compact sofa on the left and a wooden, elegant desk in the center of the room. The walls were rogue and there was a maroon rug in the center of the floor.

Mr. Raynott was sitting at his desk with his reading glasses on. He closed a folder he had been reading and leaned back on his leather chair.

"You wished to see me, father?" Andrew started.

"I did son." He leaned forward and motioned for him to stand in front of his desk. "I'm afraid I have to ask a huge favor from you, Andrew."

Andrew's eyes lit up mischievously and he suppressed his smile as he uttered:

"And what would that be?"

"Well, I had planned to send Mathew before, but given the current circumstances, you'll go in his place."

It irritated Andrew to an extreme extent the fact that he was a second choice to his father.

'No matter. I shall just demonstrate to him how much more fit to rule I am.'
Andrew thought.

"You will send me where exactly? And to what cause?" Andrew inquired.

"You will be sent to the Military Elite Base. Superior Foster has requested the presence of a Governing Elite member to oversee a commotion." Mr. Raynott answered.

"What type of commotion?"

"It appears a soldier has neglected an order to kill and is currently under surveillance. However, there's a malfunction in his DNA coding and cannot correct it using technology. Superior Foster informs me he has a potential solution to it, but needs to verify it with the Elite. I am sending you in my representation the next morning. Can you do this, son?"

"Absolutely, Father. Thank you for confiding in me this important task." Andrew bowed his head and smiled.

"Well, that was it son, you may leave."

Andrew nodded and left the office. Once outside, he walked to his room and closed the door as he allowed himself to laugh at how well his plan was going. It was just a matter of time before Andrew's father trusted him fully. Trusted him with his plans and secrets.

Well, even if he never did in the time he had left, Andrew would gain power and knowledge. Nothing and no one would stand against him.

It was all going perfect and smoothly ever since Mathew was gone. Now he just needed to get rid of that pest named Eric-434.
