"You're alive . . ." Mathew said breathlessly.
"Live and well, brother." Andrew smiled.
Mathew rushed to the window and scratched the surface with his nails as he shouted:
"How are you alive?! You were supposed to be dead! I SAW YOU DEAD!!"
Without flinching in the face of his twin's wrath, Andrew stepped closer to the window. It was like looking into the dark side of the mirror.
"A wound was all you left, Mathew. But I have you where I want you." Andrew whispered. "So how are your pesky little friends, Mathew? Hm?"
"Friends?" Mathew inquired.
"Eric-434 and I-111502, are your friends, are they not?"
"I don't know what you are talking about."
Andrew stepped away from the window and turned his back to it. Mathew stepped back.
"Feigning ignorance I see. What on Earth do they plan?" Andrew asked as he fixed his combed blond locks.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Mathew said sternly.
Andrew chuckled lightly.
"Then I suppose it wouldn't matter to you if . . ." Andrew chuckled again.
"If what? What is it that you want Andrew?"
"You know, even after you've been gone, my plan isn't working how I had expected. It's a pity father and mother still care about you. They're preventing me from gaining the power I deserve for hoping you will return."
Mathew followed Andrew with his eyes as he moved around the room. He halted right in front of Mathew and with a devious smile said:
"I'm going to wipe out all the Governing families along with our parents."
Mathew's eyes went wide and he shouted:
"YOU'RE A MONSTER!! YOU'RE WILLING TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE TO GET POWER!! I'M GLAD FATHER CHOSE ME LONG AGO BEFORE YOU! HE KNEW YOU WERE A MURDEROUS MONSTER AND WOULD NEVER BE A FIT LEADER!!"
"My, how insulting. And here I was thinking about sparing you." Andrew held a hand over his heart.
"Why would you tell me this! What is wrong with you!" Mathew whispered incredulously.
"Because you can't stop me. And I enjoy your suffering. Your days are numbered, freak."
Andrew spun around and left his twin screeching in rage. Perhaps Mathew was right, Andrew could never be a fit leader for his father's society. But he could be in his own society.
The night was still dark in the Governing grounds. Andrew returned from the asylum and began his plan. He first entered the Dao family manor. With a blast gun in hand, he murdered Mr. Dao, Mrs. Dao, and their only daughter. He lit the flame in the stove of their home, and took a curtain to catch fire. He threw it close to the wall of the kitchen and watched as the house began to catch on fire.
The screams of their neighbors woke up the Elixir family, but their time ran out too as Andrew shot Dr. Elixir and his wife. The fire of the Dao manor spread to the Elixir manor through the path of dead plants and twigs Andrew laid there earlier. The Marble family manor caught on fire before Andrew could enter the home. But the father, mother, and their three children walked out to safety. However, little did they know it was safer inside their burning home, as they were met by a blast each.
The only manor left, was the Raynott manor. The place where Andrew and Mathew grew up, where memories where made, was burning to embers. He could hear the desperate screams of his parents. Their cries of help in vain. Andrew was the rightful leader of this society, if he needed to burn his path to make it through, he would. He walked inside the scorching hell and stole the Master Code that belonged to his father from his office. The smell of burning wood and smoke was overpowering. But Andrew still stalked his way up the stairs to the room his parents were trapped in.
Mr. and Mrs. Raynott held each other together and cried on their bed. They saw their son stand in the doorway, the shadows on his face accentuating his obscure intent.
"Andrew! Get out now! Save yourself!" His mother cried.
Andrew remained standing and smiled as the fire reflected on his eyes.
"ANDREW WHAT ARE YOU DOING! RUN! RUN SON!" His father yelled.
A wood log fell from the ceiling and rose the ashes. Andrew looked his parents in the eyes and raised the gun at them. His parents, realizing what he did and would do, only stared back.
"Today . . . a new society emerges. Today, I will be the only authority. I am the one, and only, Supreme Leader of the Isolone." Andrew said his final words as he pulled the trigger twice, ending with the lives of those who gave him life.
The manor was collapsing at a fast rate and finally, Andrew made it out. He stood outside admiring the purifying flames destroying his enemies. He laughed maniacally as he was now, the Supreme Leader of the Isolone.
