The beginning of the end

Gyro went into the enclosure to fetch Timmy's body, for some kind of frankenstein-esque experiment. "Huh? The body's.... Disappeared? Oh well, I suppose I can go to the morgue later and claim I'm related to one of the corpses." Suddenly he noticed bloody footprints leading into the shadows. "What?" He felt spooked, so he decided to leave the enclosure. Meanwhile in McDonalds, Tammy smiled.

"I can sense it.... He's back and alive!"

It was an incredibly stormy day. Garfield and Scrooge walked towards the Limo under an umbrella. It was time to show Garfield the dark beast that lay under scrooge's offices. "Wow, I can't wait to see whatever you have!" Garfield yelped in excitement.

"Aye, it's spicy. G-Garfield... I just want you to know I love you, and only you.... No matter what." He said, holding Garfields hand. There was a... Tone of guilt in his voice. Shadow Hugh wasn't the only secret Scrooge had to hide. They got into the limo and began to head off towards the money bin.

"Scrooge, how have those two poor kids you hired been?" Garfield asked.

"Oh uh they're fine" Scrooge said quickly.

"Hey Scrooge, did you hear? Prince is alive again! It's crazy, right? Almost as if someone wished him back to life." Garfield said excitedly. He was a fan of Prince.

"Wow, interesting." Scrooge said, distracted by other thoughts.

"S-scrooge... You've been distracted for awhile. Are you sure everything is alright?" Garfield asked. He genuinely was concerned for his husbands wellbeing, as it seemed he had been "Out of it" for awhile.

"Garfield, I...... Can we talk about this later?" Scrooge said, sighing.

"Can't we talk about it now??" Garfield said, probing deeper into Scrooge's thoughts

"I just.... This needs to be said in private." Scrooge said. Garfield pouted. Now he was getting very concerned." They had finally arrived at the money bin where a small crowd of paparazzi had gathered. "Mr scrooge! Mr scrooge can you tell us about what is inside? Can you tell us about how life has been like with Garfield? can you-"

"No answers, no answers please fucking move we need to go inside" They pushed their way through the crowds and made it inside. There was Gyro, and other assistants.

"Ah, Scrooge, just in time! We're ready to showcase project neutron." He said, smiling before he glanced to the side to see Garfield. "I see, it's you. I've heard alot about you from Scrooge. He must really care about you..."

"Yes, indeed. Now assistants, could you show Garfield to the lab? I just need to speak to Gyro in private." Scrooge said, as the assistants and Garfield piled into an elevator. "Have you secured the enclosure, Gyro?" Scrooge said.

"Yes, Scrooge. Everything is secure and prepared." Gyro was lying. He had something planned, which would ensure Scrooge would love him. And only him. He leaned in or a kiss, but Scrooge put his hand up to deny.

"We can't right now, Gyro."

"Awwwwwwh, okay then~" They both entered the elevator and descended into the lab.

Two people entered from a vent. They moved towards the staircase very sneakily, followed by a cat. "My magical senses are tingling, the witch is down here." Mami said. "It's time we finish it once and for all."
