Springtrap lounged on the black velvet couch in his gothic themed living room. His black t-shirt was strangely wrinkle-free, even after his nap earlier that afternoon. He had on his favorite pair of blue plaid pajama pants with his legs crossed underneath him. The television held the focus of his hazelnut colored eyes as he pulled his ashy blonde hair over his left shoulder and tied it off with a black elastic hairband. He was so lost in thought that he absentmindedly traced a finger over his scar that stretched from the corner of his mouth, across his cheek, to the spot where his jaw joint was. Several years ago, though, He got a tattoo of stitches to cover it so he would stop getting the pitying, or frightened, looks from people. Not that he didn't get the latter anyway because of his attitude and the way he dressed.
Glancing at the Harley Davidson clock on the wall, He groaned and flopped down on the couch, stretching out to length of the couch and laying his arm over his eyes so he didn't have to stare at the ceiling. Waiting on his girlfriend to get home from work was hard for him, especially today. Usually when he had a day off from work, he would go do the necessary shopping or just go for a drive on his black Honda Shadow motorcycle. But guess who took his keys and the only other vehicle? His girlfriend, Neffy. (A/N: Don't kill me, please.) All because it was snowing and she didn't want him to catch a cold.
The door connecting the garage to the house slamming almost made Spring jump for joy. Not really for his girlfriend being home but because he'd get his keys back. He sat up quickly and looked expectantly at the doorway to kitchen for Neffy to make her appearance. When she did, however, he looked confused. Her shoulder length red hair had been pulled into a low ponytail with her bangs almost covering her black glasses. Her blue-green hazel eyes looked tired and her pale skin was tinted pink from the cold. Her black scrubs were hidden under her black coat. But what made him confused was not the way she looked, for she often came home looking like this from trying to juggle school and work, it was what she said.
"You need to go to see Blank. He could use a friend right now," She tossed him the keys to the black subaru she drove everyday and walked up the stairs to the second floor. "I'm taking a shower and then I'm going to bed. Goodnight."
"Maybe you should take the day off from work and school tomorrow. I can take tomorrow off to be here with you," Spring suggested as he followed her up too their shared bedroom, even if they weren't really sharing it as of recently.
"Maybe," and then Neffy disappeared into the bathroom.
Spring changed out of his pajamas and into a pair of black skinny jeans, a Fall Out Boy t-shirt, and his steel-toed black biker boots. He planned to grab his leather jacket on the way out since it was hanging by the garage door. He attached the chain from his wallet to one of his front belt-loops before putting the wallet itself in his back pocket. He sat on the edge of the bed and waited for Neffy to come out of the bathroom, get dressed in a pair of shorts and a tanktop, and climb into bed before he got up to leave. He wanted to make sure she didn't get hurt while in the shower just in case she was too tired. Telling her bye, He rubbed her back a bit before walking out of the room and down the stairs to the garage door. After he grabbed his jacket and put it on, He walked to the car and thought about what was going on between them.
