Dabi groaned as a door slammed open, his peaceful nap being interrupted but the rude noise. He turned over electing to ignore who ever just walked in and return to sleeping when a squealing yell came barreling into the room. "DEEEEEKKKKIIII!!!"
Togo's footsteps where light and swift and Deku hollered back, "I'm Home." To let Toga know that she was right. Earlier that day she nearly stabbed Dabi for laughing at her when she did the same thing but instead of it being Deku walking through the door it was actually Noir. The poor bloke was so confused and nearly jumped when she came at him with full-Toga-force.
Smirking at the memory Dabi rolled back over deciding that, perhaps, it was worth it to see how the interaction would play out with it actually being Deku this time. Just like last time Toga lunged at the one standing in the door way. Knife in hand and a lunatic smile on her face.
In a swift movement Deku grabbed her wrist jerking it away from his face but just barely. Then with the other hand he had grabbed her around the waist and hoisted her up close to his shoulder like Toga was nothing but a sack of flower. Upset that her attack missed she kicked her feet into Deku's back until he winced a bit and set her down. With Toga out of the way Dabi could clearly see Deku's face; and it wasn't pretty.
"Who did that?" Dabi asked while shifting upright.
Toga touched one of the bruises that was on Deku's cheek. "Ya, seriously, what happened."
Deku brushed her hand away and walked passed her heading to Kurogiri's bar. "Just had a little run in with some of my old friends." He pulled out some ice dumping it into a dishcloth and then proceeded to scrunch the cloth into a makeshift ice pack to place on his purple face.
Toga Folded her arms. "Why don't you bring me with you?"
Deku rolled his eyes, "It's not like I expected to run into them."
"Soooo?" Toga asked swaying slightly.
"So what?" Deku seemed too tired to deal with Toga's fanatics.
"Didtchya kill em!" She asked bringing a finger to her lip.
Deku raised an eyebrow hesitating for a moment.
"I wanna know too." Dabi chimed in. If he really had killed them then Deku would have committed his first official legal offence. That was something to celebrate, if it was true.
Deku moved away from behind the bar and instead sat at one of the bar's stools. While Toga just sat on the countertop. "Let's just say that I let them off with a warning this time."
Toga dramatically tilted her head back at Deku's response. "Boo. Boo. Did they even put up a good fight?"
Deku looked her dead in the eye and then removed the ice showing the bruise and mockingly brushed his suit stirring up dust as it flew off the slick fabric.
Toga squinted, her nose scrunching up and her lips pouting.
"The fight was fun." Deku finally said.
"Details!!!!" Toga insisted kicking her legs back and forth.
"What can I say? I was playing around with them, let them get a few hits in and then I was done. Kacchan has definitely improved but not by much. The minute I got a little serious he fell in a heart beat. I imagine he's frustrated and cursing recovery girl right about now."
"Sounds like a blast." Dabi was rather proud of his joke but neither of them seemed to catch it.
"Aww I wish I could have seen it."
